This magnificent and, to be honest, rather shocking at first site monument stands in front of the port of Livorno. The bronze statues of the Mori are so detailed they efface the marble statue of Fernando I, who is actually the winner in the battle. I spend a lot of time there, just circling around the monument looking at the details. Go and find something yourself.

House had many original furniture pieces , including his campaign bed and his sister’s complete bedroom, along with the dress she wore to his coronation . The gardens were nice , but would have been better earlier in summer.
