The French Paradox

With Covid restrictions lifted we booked a 5pm dining slot,in the ever so chic Ballsbrige French bistro, led to our table by utterly charming and attentive staff we mused over the virtual menu on our phones while sipping a ‘Kir vin blanc’ my friend wanted to share a duck salad, great choice, I choose to share a Camembert fondu, which was nicely done. With another ‘Kir’ on board each we had to have the classic creme brûlée, which lived-up to their deserved reputation. To finish ‘un pet’t cafe’ pour moi, and iced-tea for my friend kept us both happy out. I throughly recommend this ‘french oasis’ in D4, to all foodies and franophiles.
