This place is amazing if you like to learn about our ancestors and where they lived. You can visit this place with friends, partner or with the whole family. The walk from the parking is amazing and the landscapes around this place are georgeous. If you visit Zestoa is a must!

Calle San Pedro is one of the charming old streets of Hondarribia. We pretty much walked along almost all of them and admired the medieval feel of this amazingly preserved historic town. Calle San Nicolas is also lovely and walking down all the way to the Paseo de Bidasoa is very pleasant.

I enjoyed two months in a wonderful community. Basque people are great. They are fine cooks, artisans, fisherman and hosts. Hondarribia offers beauty on every corner along with a bus stop, bakery, cafe or bar.

I absolutely love walking around these type of fortifications that were there to protect the harbour and the town.

St.Mary Gate is the entrance to the old town and one of those charming medieval corners that make Hondarribia so authentic. Very photogenic spot.
