At Vilminore, in the Scalve valley, along the Gleno valley, has been realized an Arboretum and an expositive place where there are descriptive cards of the botanical species (about 100) planted in the early years 2000. A wood where cohabit plants with different peculiareties Rhododendrons (R.Hirsutum and R. Ferrugineum), wild roses, firtrees, (Abies Alba and Picea Excelsa), aldertrees, beeches, marples and species which over grow the wooods of the valley from 600 to 1800 m (sea level). The visitors and the school-children who want a guided visit are taken by qualified staff. Next to the Arboretum become available grill and picnic areas, into a receptied and relaxed place, besides in summer, you keep a snack-bar open where you can taste salted meats and cheeses from Scalve Valley.
