The most populated of the Turks and Caicos islands, Providenciales is one of the world’s top beach destinations. The diving and snorkeling is as convenient as it is stunning, thanks to miles of coral reef that’s easily accessible from the shore. The upscale resorts and captivating beachscapes of Grace Bay make it a popular choice for waterfront escapes. The cliffs and crags of Chalk Sound make a lovely backdrop for kayaking the bright turquoise waters.

Luxury beach
Worth a visit while in Provo. I got there via a boat drop-off that included a guided tour of the Iguana Island. Make sure to go through the vegetation and through to a pristine little beach adjacent to Half Moon Bay beach on Little Water Cay. The actual Half Moon Bay beach is pristine yet there's quite a bit of boat traffic going through and lots of people getting on and off boats. There's no on-foot access to the beach from Leeward, you have to arrive by boat. Caribbean Cruisin' has affordable options to get to the beach. They're located near the TCI ferry in the easternmost Leeward.

Forgot to review Bonefish Point from vacay last February (coming back this Feb and will deffo visit again!). We set off with our map to find a beach which was quiet, and took our cool bag full of everything we would need. This is a must. Seriously, it's a schlep for sure but so worth it if no one else arrives for the day! The drive up in our economy vehicle =interesting!! We didn't think the track was ever going to end, but once we saw the clearing, we parked up and walked about 20 yards and plonked our gear down. We had our doughnuts and a lilo and just lay in the sea bobbing along, for most of the day! The water is calm, and you don't get dragged away by the tide. We didn't hike over to the carvings, we walked along the top of the rocks and saw conch shells etc. all interesting stuff. If you like to be 'off the beaten track'..this is for you. We loved the quiet.... ate our sandwiches and had a bottle of pop! Definitely spend a day gathering your thoughts here... even if others turn up, they give you a wide berth and go to find their own 'piece of tranquil'... or maybe that's just us they gave the wide berth to!? LOL...

We took our tiny rental car and made it to the beach and back out but would certainly recommend a better vehicle if possible. We snorkeled the artificial reef, which is totally worth seeing. Hopefully, it will keep growing and attracting marine life. There were security cameras that seemed to keep their eye on us, but we didn’t really mind-possibly due to the Aman resort just down the beach. Beautiful coastline - worth seeing.

This beach. It’s gorgeous!!! Perfect powdery sand, also packs well so it’s perfect for sand castles. The water is just perfection, it’s shallow, so great for the kids. It’s like a lagoon. You can walk so far out!!! And no waves, it’s peaceful and the kids can just be and play!!! We rented a car so we parked on the side street. There’s a path, where it says ocean front, brings you right down to the beach. Bring towels, food, water and snacks- and an umbrella if you can! The sun is super hot. And you’re not gonna wanna leave, and neither will the kids!

Love this underdeveloped beach. Watch the kite surfers go up and down, and then watch as the horses from Provo Ponies walk excitedly into the beautiful turquoise waters......the best beach ever......

White sand beach with clear, calm waters, best known for its excellent diving opportunities and the tiki-huts that line the coast for a South Pacific atmosphere.
I want to qualify Malcolm Beach in this review. Just down from the exclusive Amanyara resort is Malcolm Beach which we have visited for over 10 years. Please know that this only for those who like the adventure of seeing different beaches on the island and are prepared to take a 25 minute drive from Turtle Cove area to this beach on rocky dirt roads. Turtle Cove is the center of the island so if you were to drive from Leeward, add another 20 minutes. Go if you have plenty of time on the island as this is for those who have already seen all the basics. You are going for natural beauty and seclusion. There are rock structures and a hard to find but well documented coral head. Take a life vest or noodle. The current is no joke on this side and use good judgement. You may also see sharks when approaching the coral head. I had one pass me just last week. An easier place to go for snorkeling is Smith Reef. Take a picnic to Malcolm Beach. An easier approach and a different view of the Northwest Point is by the Northwest Point Condos. This would be another easier way to see this part of the island just not as jaw dropping as Malcolms. You can stop at Da Conch Shack for lunch on your way back.
