The bohemian allure and fairytale features of Prague make it a perfect destination for beach-weary vacationers who want to immerse themselves in culture. You could devote an entire day to exploring Prazsky hrad (Prague Castle), then refueling over a hearty dinner at a classic Czech tavern. Spend some time wandering the Old Town Square before heading over to gape at The Old Town Hall and Astronomical Clock. Prague’s best bars are found in cellars, where historic pubs set the scene for a night of traditional tippling.

In the neighbourhood of Mama Strana, downhill from the castle, you find this friendly jazz club where to have a really great time. At the pub upstairs they serve a good selection of local beers and what van be considered essentially pub food with a touch of eastern Europe. I had a pork chop with rosemary potatoes, My wife had goulash. Everything was excellent. Downstairs, you have the concert hall. Be advised: the number of tables is limited so you'd better book in advance. The ticket price was reasonable, and the quality of the musicians outstanding. Pretty long concert as well! Really enjoyed. On my way back, I couldn't find a uber because the connection was just bad. Staff helped me to find a local cab driver: they were extremely friendly. I loved this place! Will coke back if I'll ever be in Prague again soon. In the meanwhile, you readers go!

Found this in the Rick Steve's book and so glad we did...Prague is very much a beer town so finding a wine bar was awesome! Doesn't open until 4pm so couldn't stop in for lunch and wish we could have stayed longer. Great selection of local wines and the host was patient with all of our questions, very attentive and willing to explain the history and each winery, even in English. Highly recommend stopping in and doing a wine tasting of your own!

The first real horror bar in Prague downtown, just around the corner from Prague Castle. Join us for a drink or just a cup of coffee during the day in unique atmosphere of your favorite horror movies. Czech draft beer, a great variety of cocktails and shots, premium brands of whiskey, rum, vodka, gin, tequila, bourbon, cognac, refreshing non-alchoholic cocktails.
After completing Thrill Park prague (see other review), we were given some vouchers for free shots by the lovely Kate. We made our way over here and had a Zombie Embryo Shot and I think a brain haemorrhage shot? Then followed by a Re-animator and a Chainsaw cocktail. Such an awesome little bar, dedicated to all things gory / horror. Love it!!! PERFECT compliment to a spooky / scary night!
