You’ll wonder why you don’t live in Portland after you’ve visited this laid-back and friendly city. With a reputation for manicured parks, eclectic nightlife, fine micro-breweries and distilleries, and nature that cuts right into the city, Portland’s a Pacific Northwest must-visit. Don’t miss the famous Japanese Garden, one of the largest and most beautiful of its kind outside of Japan.

Seven Bridges Winery

Our winemakers Kevin Ross and Bob Switzer became friends on the soccer fields of Portland, Oregon. Based upon their mutual appreciation of great red wines, Kevin and Jill Ross introduced Bob to their winemaking hobby. The wines showed promise, but our challenge was to make them better. Over the next several years we developed our winemaking skills and techniques by channeling our competitive drives, engineering talents and creativity. As our wine improved each year, we wanted more, and so did our friends! Thus Seven Bridges Winery was born. We began producing commercially wines commercially in 2008. We use labor-intensive, manual production techniques to produce our premium, flavorful red wines. Our grapes are handpicked, sorted, and crushed, then fermented in small lots. After a gentle pressing, the wines are aged in French and American oak barrels. We truly hope you enjoy this wine as much as we did making it.We adopted the name Seven Bridges to pay tribute to the spectacular bridges spanning the Willamette River some of which can be seen from our winery, located in downtown Portland, Oregon.

So I might not want to say how awesome this place is If we risk the coolness factor of having it discovered! This place is super tiny and serves some of the most amazing wines by the glass — I so wish we had a place like this in Atlanta! We were in Portland for 3 nights and visited each day - need I say more?? Go there if you are in Portland and cannot go to any wineries - they have great stuff by the glass to try and you will get a feel for Willamette wines So good!
