Lively Olive Tasting Bar

Reviewed By TaiChiSustainable - Langley, United States

Port Townsend is a quaint little town easily reachable by ferry from Coupeville. It has a number of interesting shops, but one outstanding place is the Lively Olive. The flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars are amazing. Whether you are taking your ordinary salad into an extraordinary experience or just putting some olive oil out for your guests to dip their bread, this place opens up your mind (and your taste buds) to all kinds of tastes that are just not available in your local grocery store. It's fun to take your guests on a field trip to find their favorites and then bring them home for a simple meal of sourdough bread for dipping, salad, and soup. What a way to warm up from this cold weather!

Perfect Season

Reviewed By OlyPeninsula - Sequim, United States

We were looking for a particular handcream, and left a message on the shop phone. We received a call back and unfortunately they didn’t have the large size we were hoping for. I was very impressed they would call us back and give us the information during a busy season. She took time with me. Remember that the good shops in a small town are worthy of our support! ***I will definitely shop there when I go next week.***
