Artisan winery and cellar door in Salamander Bay, Port Stephens. We source the best grapes from regional NSW vineyards and convert them into quality wine.
Just spent a lovely hour or so tasting great wines, with fantastic local cheese and salami, Mark clearly loves his wine and shares his passion in a fantastic relaxed and informative way. Cant wait to see the label and name for his latest vintage, and what it ends up being called.

This is a beautiful community art centre where one is spoilt for choice. Great selection of art works and various mediums from paintings, sculpture, pottery, mosaics, jewellery, crochet, seeing and glass work to name a few. Prices very reasonable for quality art works. Pleasantly surprised. The gardens surrounding and cafe looked lovely to had I more time. Purchased a gorgeous pottery lighthouse by artist Roger Rigby.

Cole Bros Oysters supply premium oysters – six days a week direct from the shed. We’re located on the waterfront at Karuah, next to Longworth Park. Only a short boat ride up the Bay from Port Stephens or a quick five minute detour off the Pacific Hwy at the Karuah exit.
Choose the Pacific oysters, they are so huge and fresh and of course yum! their shop is also close to a park where you can take great photos of the river and is a great place for a picnic with family and friends. There is also a kids playground and a tables and chairs available to have lunch or the fresh oysters purchased form Cole bros! they are simply the best in town!

Arts and Crafts Gallery, Community, not for profit organisation. Large variety of handmade arts and crafts including embroidery, woodcraft, glassware, textiles, artwork including oils, acrylics, pastels and more. A place where like-minded people can meet and do what they love with like minded people and put up for sale what they have made. All volunteers are the artists and artisans themselves.
This is a lovely community gallery. I was there on the weekend. A lively group of people were in the room reserved fore courses. The main Gallery has some beautiful pieces of artwork along with many craft, woodwork and jewelry items on show. Great feeling and very friendly helpful volunteer staff. Definitely worth stopping in to have a look.
