They had an exhibition of the works of 14 local artists, featuring South Australia by ceramics, photography, painting and sculpture. Two artists were there to assist the visitors by explaining the displayed arts. As I couldn’t keep on standing, they offered me a chair and took it around the gallery for me. That was nice! As I noted previously, a wheelchair can be accessible through the Port Adelaide Visitor Information Centre, which is adjacent to the Port Community Arts Centre. (I discovered it, when I visited for the first time. It’s always good to ask, as they are willing to help visitors.)

These markets have been around for many years. It is a pleasant way to spend as much time as you want looking at typical market style stalls. Plenty of room between stalls to allow for social distancing. The Old Port has some interesting things to look at and certainly worth driving out to Port Adelaide to have a look.

With the redevelopment of the old Pt Dock centre, we now see a birth of a bright modern shopping precinct emerging from the old rundown graffitied area it used to be halfway through a two-year project the new "Pt Adelaide Plaza" as it is now called when fully finished it will be a modern mid-sized shopping that will be central to the Pt Adelaide's northern community, a section opening from April this year included Aldi, Coles, Kmart, various restaurants from breckie's! to quick snacks, or just a coffee & more shops & venues will open as the project comes to a conclusion early 2020 along with this development will also attract a whole new business centre to take Pt Adelaide into the 21 century.
