I love this course. You have enough tees to choose from to make it more and more interesting. The staff is friendly and work hard at making sure you have a good time. The course is always in good condition because the grounds crew works hard to make your experience wonderful. Don't miss playing this beautiful course. And, don't forget to rake the traps, fix your divots, and fix your ball marks on the greens! Have fun!

Best ATV trip ever, and I've been on ATV rides all over the world. We were picked up at our hotel in Reno by Lisa. Then we were created at the ranch by Kevin. He showed us around the great barn where parties can be held. Then Scott reviewed with us the working of the ATVs. He checked our skill set then we were off. He catered our ride to the skill of our group. Beautiful views. Great rides throughout the country side and up into the mountains.

Grizzly Ranch Golf Club is the #1 Ranked public-accessible golf course in the Sierra Nevada (Golf Digest 2014). Established in 2005, this is a Bob Cupp-designed championship course that can stretch out to 7400 yards but with five sets of tees can provide challenge and enjoyment to every level of player. Located in Northeastern California just 45 minutes North of Reno, NV and Truckee, CA, Grizzly Ranch Golf Club is everything a mountain course should be .. majestic views, impeccable conditions, tough but fair. Director of Golf, Van Batchelder, strives to make every guest's visit a memorable and enjoyable experience. Grizzly Ranch Golf Club is not to be missed.
Grizzly Ranch is hands down my favorite course in all of Reno/Tahoe (I've lived in Reno since 2003). In the summer of 2020 my family and I bought a second home on the 9th hole and it was the best decision we've ever made. Having a home that is outdoors and on a golf course, yet is still only 45 minutes away from Reno where we call home, is absolutely amazing. The golf course, though challenging, is very forgiving for the average golfer, which makes it fun every single time I play. Prior to purchasing my home I regretfully had never played the course before. After playing that first time I think I was able to play 15+ more times throughout the rest of the season. I have 3 small children, so being able to introduce them to golf and having them learn how to play at Grizzly is something I am very much looking forward to. Every single person I have brought along with me for the weekend is absolutely blown away that this magnificent course is right in our backyard. The course layout, the amenities, the staff...everything is absolutely amazing! For anyone considering getting a place up in this area...do it! I promise you won't regret it.

Plumas Pines is a Gem in the mountains of the Sierra's. From the moment you drive up out of the valley of Graeagle the views of the next little vally hold Plumas Pines Resort a very easy a pet friendly place to stay while golfing, hiking, fishing or just relaxing. Onsite is great grill and fine dining at a very well kept GC. You can walk thru the GC on your way to dine with wildlife is spotted here and there. Holes vary on river, streams and little lakes (ponds) filled with fresh water from the Feather River. You may even hear a train whistle. Fishing at your back door and Bbqing from your porch while enjoying the cool sounds. One hole may take your ball so bring a few. A fun tournament in the late summer is a must if you like fun and golfing with other tools found at each hole. Brandon is a great host in the shop and always welcomes you and remembers his guest that have traveled around the world to get here. Book early and look for specials on popular GC sites. Or just ask Brandon. Dining at the course is a must for dinner. Reservations are important as it does get busy. Inside or outside dining. Bring a light jacket for the cool mountain air.
