Set against the misty blue backdrop of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee is a gateway to 500 thousand acres of Appalachian wilderness. If hiking over 800 miles of mountain trails and camping in dense ancient forests isn't your thing, head over to Dollywood for a different sort of fun. Founded by country queen, Dolly Parton, Dollywood combines rollercoasters, waterslides, and live bluegrass and gospel concerts, with a down home country fair.

Goats On The Roof Of The Smokies is a unique Pigeon Forge attraction for the whole family.Feed our goats, buy the T-shirt or mine for precious stones.
This gem is good for the whole family, while the kids are feeding the goats and watching them climb to the roof, Mom can shop in the Unique Gift shop! The kids can ride the coaster and there is a great snack bar with burgers, hot dogs, candy and more!

A must stop every time I visit the mountains! Unfortunately, I didn’t find any treasures this year. Maybe next time

Old Forge Plaza is a “must visit” for us; however, we enjoy a week day 100% more than a weekend visit. Adjacent Patriot offers parking and Trolley Hub. A distillery and Black Shop are prominent. Old Forge Plaza shopping, dining, and great Appalachian views.
