I planned to go to the outlet, but ran out of time. I did have the opportunity to go to the shop in Milano (both the one in Montenapoleone and in Rinascente). The boutique in Milano is beautiful- minimalist and well-lit. The salespeople were standoffish at first, but it was because I didn’t connect with a fluent English speaker. After finding the right person, getting sizes, and buying some coats, the manager checking is out was WONDERFUL. He asked about the shopping experience, he carefully prepared our packages, and he held them for us while we went to other shops. An A-1 experience with a major savings over U.S. pricing.
