Piedmont (/ˈpiːdmɒnt/ PEED-mont; Italian: Piemonte, pronounced [pjeˈmonte]; Piedmontese, Occitan and Arpitan: Piemont; French: Piémont) is a region in northwest Italy, one of the 20 regions of the country. It borders the Liguria region to the south, the Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna regions to the east and the Aosta Valley region to the northwest; it also borders France to the west and Switzerland to the northeast. It has an area of 25,402 square kilometres (9,808 sq mi) and a population of 4,396,293 as of 31 July 2016. The capital of Piedmont is Turin.

We found this place by accident on theaay to Stresa Zoo.We had drinks and snacks.Friendly staff and great place to relax Just wish we had found it earlier in our holiday!

We toured this winery and castle with Antonio and Luigi Rovellotti, who were both friendly and entertaining. The passion that Antonio has for the wine are very apparent when he speaks about it. We very much enjoyed our visit. My personal favorites of wine were the Ghemme and the Vitigno Innominabile. What made it even more special, was tasting these wines with their own homemade cheese and sausage. Very enjoyable. Would absolutely love to come back here and do again!

In the center of Murazzano this bar attracts many people for lunch, aperitifs and homemade ice cream (the nocciole ice cream is the best!).
