Lingering over pain au chocolat in a sidewalk café, relaxing after a day of strolling along the Seine and marveling at icons like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe… the perfect Paris experience combines leisure and liveliness with enough time to savor both an exquisite meal and exhibits at the Louvre. Awaken your spirit at Notre Dame, bargain hunt at the Marché aux Puces de Montreuil or for goodies at the Marché Biologique Raspail, then cap it all off with a risqué show at the Moulin Rouge.

Situated on the Right Bank of the River Seine, the 11th is one of the most densely populated urban districts not just of Paris but of any European city.
The area near the Bastille monument is full of opportunities to experience the ‘real side’ of Paris. The Richard-Lenoir Marché on Wednesdays and Saturdays is a signature attraction, where you can graze on local treats at very reasonable prices while ‘people-watching’ the locals and the tourists. Excellent affordable Cafés and Bistros abound. Remnants of the old prison are to be found and seen. Don’t miss this area.

This church is a hidden gem; I found it to be most impressive, especially when it was lite up at night. The interior was unique and pretty in its own right. Definitely worth a visit!

Located just off the Place de la Bastille, is this hidden gem, secret street, (pardon the cliches), so peaceful away from the traffic, definitely worth a visit when exploring Paris, you wont be disappointed.
