Lingering over pain au chocolat in a sidewalk café, relaxing after a day of strolling along the Seine and marveling at icons like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe… the perfect Paris experience combines leisure and liveliness with enough time to savor both an exquisite meal and exhibits at the Louvre. Awaken your spirit at Notre Dame, bargain hunt at the Marché aux Puces de Montreuil or for goodies at the Marché Biologique Raspail, then cap it all off with a risqué show at the Moulin Rouge.

It's rare nowadays with internet to be able to find a store that has a wide selection of games from RPG (and second hand ones as well) to family boardgames, miniature games and hobby material. A reference in Paris Staff speaks decent English, and of course gaming material is in French but you can really get your hands on second hand stuff in English as well

Famous bookstore located across from Notre Dame features several floors of books and Paris literary history.
In 1951 a small Parisian bookshop opened it was called Shakespeare and Company a magical place where authors of the time could go and share their ideas with any restrictions. Still today in 2018 you can feel the friendly vibe of the place and spend hours inside just looking at all the books from Sylvia Beach’s collection while enjoying the lovely and vintage vibe of the very special place that is Shakespeare and Company.

Perfect shop for the cheese lovers. Many delicious varieties and an amazing atmosphere makes this gem a must-see.
Right across the street from our airbnb on Rue de Rivoli was a wonderful fruit shop, two wine shops, a patisserie and this gem of a cheese shop. Visit this place if for no other reason than to taste the samples on offer. Check out the variety of bleu cheeses. I am now totally in love with the cave aged gouda. Just don't ask for crackers (we were politely told the cheese and crackers are an American thing). The selection here is better than even the best high end supermarkets in the USA. Only in the Italian market in Phillie was I ever in a cheese heaven like Laurent Dubois.
