Named for a local swamp fish, Paraty sits on Brazil's southeastern coast, 125 miles south of Rio, with the Bocaino Mountains at its back. The small colonial town's center is a national historic monument with well-preserved buildings on its pedestrian-only streets. Take a boat trip out into the bay to the flotillas of islands and coves nearby. Explore sugarcane plantations and hike or take a train through Atlantica Forest. Keep an eye out for the monkeys that roam the cobblestone streets.

I have done 4 excursions with Paraty Tours now, and have gotten to know the company and I wound 10/10 recommend. Professional, helpful, guides who really care about the local nature (some who speak English), gorgeous and amazing. With nice transfer vans that are very clean with AC. I’ve seen the most incredible places and it’s all because of Paraty Tours! Thanks friends!
The beautiful small colonial town of Paraty lies 200km south of the coast of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, one of Brazil’s most appealing destinations. We offer 8-Day trekking program around the peninsulas and beaches, crossing Saco do Mamanguá, the one and only Brazilian Fjord, trekking and kayaking, visiting local fishermen communities and experiencing their food and lifestyle. The adventure begins in the indigenous village of Paraty-Mirim, with a steep trail to reach the other side of the mountain, the Fjord's shore. Spend the night in a beach-and-jungle ecolodge to undertake the kaykaing challenge in the morning. During the journey, overnights will be in the fishermen villages. The last day is a free day in Paraty village to get to know its charms.

I booked their Hike to Telegrafo-rock. In short you get “nothing” for what you pay. You get a “guide” to meet you and they you have to pay for local transport or Uber for you and the guide... you get some limited quiding. Not the guides fault as there is not much to guide about but the company that charge for outrages amount. I do based on my experience not trust this company and advise others not to do so either. Re the Hike to Telegrafo: You can take an Uber and DIY for about 25-50% of the price of one ticket. The hike is very simple and takes 45-60 minutes.

Oh my goodness, we could not say enough good things about Priscillya!! She is the best!!! She is knowledgeable, bubbly, warm, and her ability to switch between English and Portuguese was mind blowing! The day was organized and we hit every major site in Rio in eight hours. We never felt rushed and Priscillya set times and meeting spots for our group to keep things flowing. So necessary, because the whole day had so many amazing photo ops! The fact that this tour included admission to Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf Mountain and a full Brazilian steak lunch is absurd. What a bargain!! Would 100% recommend!

Really complex and convenient day tour of São Paulo, we found this tour accidentally by browsing internet night before tour, strangely enough we stayed at the hotel where the meeting point of tour was so it just added to our easiness to book this tour, Bruno was fluent in English which is still kinda unique for Brasil, he is well spoken with main interest in art IMO, he definitely fresh up our day trip by number of tips and curiosities, can't recommend highly enough for everyone who is short staying in São Paulo and wants experience highlights of this vast city, also driver provide and hassle free and comfort transport so many thanks to both of them, you did a great job,
