A long stretch of beach, directly across the highway from Club Maeva.
Went here three times on our holidays, fantastic beach to walk and swim. Plenty of options to stop for a rest, drink food etc. Not busy like Puerto Vallarta. Various places have happy hour drinks.

Village to the north of Puerto Vallarta.
Thought it was great. People are mostly from Canada and the mexicans are very respectful. (no grabbing you into the market). Canadians have started bottle/can recycling there and twice a year they spay/neuter dogs they find. Beautiful despite the poverty. I recommend taking peso's NOT american money. (no one knows how to do the exchange rates). Not much if you are looking for excitement, but we went to a beautiful beach we had almost to ourselves and roasted hot dogs right there. The different birds/plants etc were awesome. Great body surfing on the beaches. We rented a place that was very reasonable. I enjoyed it.

A fantastic Beach Club. Our goal is to go beyond your expectations with our unparalleled beachfront location, exclusive facilities, activities, watersports and excelent food. Our restaurant in addition to its fantastic view, offers mexican food, seafood or just a magic sunset. Our charming garden and a infinity pool Our magic touch will make you come back.
Chose this trip as it offered a relaxing day in the sun. The drive from the port was about 30 mins with some things to view from the coach on the way. The resort exceeded our expectations modern, clean and with friendly welcoming staff. Food and drink was varied, good quality, well priced and served to our lounger. Massage (at very reasonable extra cost) was the best we had ever had!!! Infinity pool was warm and not over crowded. Beach was nice and sea safe for swimming but at the beginning of March not as inviting as the pool. Would recommend this trip.

Sometimes said to be a fishing village, Cuyutlan is actually a beach resort.
Walking for miles down the sinuous black sand beach in utter tropical torpor and solitude are memories my mind rushes back to when the need to decompress arises. And to stop from time to time to dive deep into the translucent waves where all worldly cares rush past and away from me. I have left miles of footprints, seemingly at the dawn of creation. Cuyutlan. My secret, where no else I know has been. And possibly one of the world's very best beaches.

Visit the golden zone any time of day. swim in the ocean and enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants right on the beach who will serve fresh fish and shrimp at a great price and enjoy a beer for a dollar.

We stayed at the El Cid El Moro Beach resort for three weeks November to. Dec 2019. There are two pools located at this resort one is an activity pool and the other one is a owner’s timeshare quiet pool. We love the second pool so much it. The pool is not heated however is refreshingly cool after spending an hour or two in the hot sun. We we’re checked in at the front counter by Celeste who was amazing and accommodating. We had spoken with the front desk general manager Guerilmo(?) day prior to ensure we had the same room for entire three weeks day and he was most accommodating to ensure our wishes. Would like to send a special thank you to both of them.. We had a room ending in the digits “24” and we were oceanfront with no balcony. We had full length windows in both our living room and bedroom and both of them had top opening windows to allow for a fresh ocean breeze to come in and still enjoy the outdoor scenery. We had an open kitchen area to our living room and a spacious bedroom with two bathrooms. Our favourite pool side server is Ignacio. We have known him for over three years as we’ve been coming to this resort and he is most courteous and when he sees us he comes over with open arms and welcomes us ‘home again’. We have also had very good service from Daniel and Erik. If you are here on the all-inclusive plan they have a variety of restaurants to book for a supper ranging from the Italian restaurant to an Argentinian restaurant, a Mexican restaurant and the buffet as well as their main outdoor restaurant located on the beach called La Concha. We usually book a one bedroom suite and prefer to do our own cooking as we are here for a longer period of time. There are 4 elevators for the 27 floor tower. There is a large beach area which has approximately 20 Palapas. The beach is flat and completely safe. We usually spend time walking the beach to get our 10,000 steps in daily. It is approximately a 15 minute walk from here to Lucky B’s In one direction and in the other direction we usually walk to Chili’s Pepper. There are many restaurants located outside the front door within a short 10 to 15 minute walk. There also a variety of vendors available on the beach. My only complaint would be the chair reserving that happens at the time share pool. You sign a paper at check in that says chair saving by placing towels is not allowed and yet it is not monitored. People place towels and save for hours on end without showing up. It seems to be the owners or premium members who abuse this the most.

Sayulita, the town and the beach, is yet another experience I won't forget soon. It's crowded, noisy, full of street vendors, too many tourists, surfers, beach goers, dogs, dogs, dogs (in a good way), traffic bumper to bumper, just an amazing place to sit down and watch it all happen. From all the steamers and colour banners flying above the cobblestone roads, to the hot mexican watermelon candy, to the endless parade of gringos to and from the beach, to the piles of garbage in the streets, it's in the middle of nowhere yet clearly over-capacity town. For myself, nice to visit, but way too busy to consider staying there unless it was a seriously quiet hideaway from all the noise and mayhem on the streets. Lots of stores, restaurants, bakeries and such. The beach really was amazing and beautiful. The waves were huge but we did not go too far on the beach as it was clearly overcrowded. We found parking early on in the day, but later, don't count on it. Just bumper to bumper all through the town all day. Wow is all I can say.
