Michael was polite, considerate, very knowledgeable and showed us cool things off the beaten track. Even looked for a pharmacy when we needed. His relationships made every stop more than just the normal tourist stop with friendly, happy to help people. Nothing felt forced or over played making the overall day great.

It is an intimate trip through some of the most beautiful nature South Africa has to offer. You get to see the incredible variety of our local fynbos and learn about the history of the Elgin area. There is no other way to experience this precious corner of the world in such and intimate and personal way. Groups are kept small (2-8 people) to ensure exclusive interaction. This is also child friendly! Ages 4 and up.

The extremities of landmasses have always captured our imagination. To stand at the Southernmost Tip of the African Continent would certainly rank high within the realm of this sentiment. The Tour takes one over Sir Lowry's Pass and Houwhoek Pass to Hermanus where, in the whale season (July- Nov), a few moments will be spared for whale watching. The area has a rich history of maritime hardships. Then enjoy a glass of Bubbly at the southern most Tip of Africa and dip your toes in both the Atlantic and Indian Ocean!
Inclusions: Pick Up & Drop Off at your Accommodation, Private Air-Conditioned Vehicle, Bottled Water & WiFi on Board, Enty/ Admission at Lighthouse , Light Lunch

Wonderful tour with Albert. He was punctual, friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable. He gave explanations about all the places we visited and allowed enough time and space to explore. I did a private tour with him as a solo traveller and he made me feel at ease and comfortable.

Cape Agulhas if you are visiting South Africa, should be on your list of the things to do.This is where the Atlantic Ocean and Indian Ocean meet, and from the lighthouse, you get a picturesque view of the the two Oceans. To complement the marker for the meeting of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans the park service has installed a huge topographical map of the African continent. It is amazing to walk around it and recognize the mountain ranges, river basins and other geographic features. Puts many things in perspective seeing it all laid out in front of you! In addition new walkways have been installed to add to visitors enjoyment of this beautiful area. If they are lots of people you will have to stand in line to get a picture at the marker. This place is by far one of the most beautiful places in the World. Highlights Cape Agulhas - Southernmost Tip of Africa, Cape Agulhas Lighthouse Elim Gansbaai Stanford Hermanus :Southern Right whales (seasonal) Clarence Drive Sir Lowrys Pass

Amazing tour!! Lele and the Langa tour guide were awesome! Very informative, helpful, insightful, and willing to go over and beyond to ensure their clients experience the ultimate tour. We were very fortunate and blessed to travel to Robben Island and get a once in a lifetime experience, and get the opportunity first hand to listen to inspiring and informative insights from the tour guides on the conditions and unfortunate circumstances political prisoners endured while incarcerated there. It is a most tour if you are in Cape Town, but understand the weather conditions dictate whether or not the boat leaves the docking area in order to travel to Robben Island, and not fault of the travel company. Even though it is understanding the customers may feel disappointed in not being able to visit Robben Island. Nevertheless, it blessing to be able to experience the Robben Island and Township tour and learned about apartheid history and the effects it had on the people in South Africa, and the continue social, psychological, and financial economic problems they continue to deal with this very moment. True story of South Africa from the people who live there, but still seeing the inspiring stories of fighting for freedom and social equality and economic prosperity.
The Overberg region has so much to offer from whale watching, shipwrecks and YES the real meeting point of the Pacific and Indian Ocean.

My guide Chris was so nice and gave me lots of information about Table Mountain and Robben Island. It's a lot to fit into one day so bring plenty of sun protection and water. I hiked at the top of Table Mountain for an hour and a half and the views are stunning. Wear a good pair of trainers or walking shoes if you want to explore as the floor is obviously rocky. Robben island is also a good tour and if you love history then you'll get so much out of being taken around the prison by a former inmate and the emotional stories they tell so definitely worth a visit. Go with Sadie Cape Town tours as they are on time and very friendly.
One can experience the best and enjoy the 4-day tour in and around Cape Town. Your journey begins with a dive with seals and seven gilled cow sharks up to the city where you will see what cape offers best. Visit Robben Island as well and see the magnificent Great white sharks. The fantastic journey ends with a trip to the beautiful Gansbaai.

Cape Agulhas light house Depart: ± 09h00 to 09h30 Return: ± 17h30 The light house which was styled on the famous Pharaohs light house of Alexander in Egypt, was initially powered by a candle- fueled from the fat of fat-tailed sheep of the area. In 1849 the candle powered light house shone for the first time. Today the beam has a range of thirty nautical miles and an intensity of 7500 000 candlepower. "We love Cape Agulhas and the Overberg. What is not to like? We have beautiful mountains, an ocean full of whales, canola fields, apple blossoms and an old world charm that immediately sets the pace of any traveller into deluxe holiday mode." ~ Country love Picture fertile hills engulfed by towering steel-blue mountains, a stretch of ocean that brags a dozen shades of blue capable of taking your breath away,

Francis was a charming young man who was a wonderful driver but was greatly lacking as a guide. He didn't know even the most basic information about Cape Town or the sights he drove us to. There were 8 of us, each paying $140 ($1120). For that kind of money I feel Viator should insure that a knowledgeable guide is provided.
This motorcycle tour will immerse you in some of the most breathtaking scenery in South Africa. We will ride stunning coastal roads, nine mountain passes and thrilling gravel roads that stretch on through vast, empty landscapes. This tour is also a ghost ride. We'll ride along paths trod by a captivating cast of heroes who shaped the life of South Africa. We'll track the beginning and end of Nelson Mandela's time in prison. We'll encounter the legend of the Watcher of the South and the creation of Table Mountain as told in Xhosa mythology. We'll discover how the mountains we ride in were used to measure the size of the Southern Hemisphere. We'll see how the water that flows from Table Mountain made it possible to build a trading station - and eventually a city here. We are confident this tour will give you lifelong memories of incredible motorcycling and a group of new friends: ghosts from the past as well as the Ride Down South crew.

We were a group of family of 6 and enjoyed every second. The driver was very informative. Our first stop was LilyPatrick, which is a new brewery and it was unforgettable. In our group was a few anti beer and brqndy drinkers, but they partook every time and it was hilarious.
