Tour Eiffel Bridge, or Montcalm Street Bridge is an ornate bridge in Gatineau. Hull and the National Capital Commission designed it to turn the Brewery Creek area into a tourist and cultural district. Incorporated in the bridge was an original steel girder from the Eiffel Tower, donated by then Mayor of Paris (and later French President) Jacques Chirac.

We loved walking through the bridge and reading about the history. The Wakefield Covered Bridge is a testiment to this community coming together and rebuilding a piece of their past.
