The 1000-year-old Norwegian capital sits at the head of Oslo Fjord. This stunning setting gives hints of the wild wonders that lie just beyond the city. From taking in visual delights at Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Viking Ship Museum, the Munch Museum and Holmenkollen, to the challenging content within the new Nobel Peace Centre and the Holocoust Center, Oslo offers plenty of food for thought. The Oslo Pass allows free travel on public transport, free parking and many museum and sight admissions.

Family Zoom tour of Oslo! Our family from all over the USA had the very best experience with Craig! He was amazing. Three generations of us were able to experience a private walking tour of Oslo "together". We were supposed to travel to Norway on March 20, 2020 but the pandemic prevented our travel. Thanks to OURWay, we got to have two hours in Oslo. I can't recommend this tour higher. Absolutely spectacular and I would definitely recommend this tour in person or on Zoom!! Dawn

You have to be an experienced hiker to participate on this tour. The trip starts outside Oslo Visitor Centre at Jernbanetorget in Oslo city centre. We will then take the Frognerseteren line to Frognerseteren. We will hike along broad and small patches in to the North forest of Oslo. In this part of the forest there are fox, beaver, moose, deer, eagle, hare and many other animals! They are all harmless. We will have a long break and then stroll down to Sørkedalen before we end our trip at Jernbanetorget where we started.

I booked a day hike with Oslo Hiking through the magical Krokskogen. The trip is 25 kilometers long and can be experienced as somewhat demanding, but in return, you get an absolutely spectacular view from Gyrihaugen, going through deep ravines to the Mørkgonga and many other beautiful gems. The tour was guided by Mustafa who has both education and many years of experience as a tour guide, both from the Norwegian mountains and the Atlas mountains.

This is a beautiful walk up to one of Oslo's nicest viewpoints. You get to explore Oslo as a real Norwegian - out in nature, surrounded by nature and fresh air. We want to provide you with a feel good experience where you get to use your body and enjoy some healthy exercise. The walk is around 7 kilometer with an altitude gain of approximately 250 meters. If you have trouble with your knees or hips this hike might not be for you, but besides that this trip should be suitable for most people. Oh, and let's not forget about the waffles! Freshly made Norwegian waffles served with jam or brown cheese will be a mouthwatering reward at top of the mountain. Let's hike, have fun and explore the Norwegian woods together.

Discover the majestic Oslo fjord and its various islands like a local, hopping on and off ferries to hike the forests, sea cliffs, charming villages and historic sites of three islands. With a local guide, explore the fascinating ruins of a nearly 1000 year old abbey, picnic on a hidden beach and walk the flower-covered paths of a summer village full of brightly painted, traditional wooden cabins. The backdrop for this tour is the stunning water views of Oslo and its surrounding hills, with picture opportunities around every unexpected corner. Don't forget a swim suit and towel as there is time for a swim in the surprisingly warm waters of the Oslo fjord! Time for a picnic lunch is included and participants can either bring their own or purchase along the way. Good walking shoes or trail shoes are recommended as the hiking is done on dirt paths, gravel and stones.

Inclusions: Guided tour, Public transportation ticket for use on the ferries (can also be used after the tour)

Exclusions: Lunch (picnic lunch stop during the tour, so participants can either bring their own lunch or purchase at a local food market)
