We actually started on the Hortonville end, biked the entire 20-mile trail to Oshkosh and then back again. Wildlife sightings included sand hill cranes and Canadian geese, one deer. The trail is really well maintained and goes through farms and woods and over water. Surface is largely crushed stone, in some places hard-packed dirt that could turn muddy in a rain but was perfect the day we biked. A couple of nasty holes, but they’re avoidable. Very few changes in elevation, and even those few were gentle slopes. We were out on a Saturday afternoon; other bicyclists and runners and dog- and kid-walkers were out, but the traffic was not at all heavy and everyone is really pleasant. For a beautiful bike ride, you cannot go wrong with this trail.

Peaceful park with paved walking and bike paths on Lake Winnebago. There's a beach, playground, tennis, pickle ball, fishing, boating with kayak and canoe rentals. There is picnic areas with lots of green space. Menominee Park Zoo is also located in the park and has free admission (donations accepted) The 8 acre zoo is very well maintained and has llamas, goats, peacocks, badgers, wolves, otters, turkeys, opossums, an albino raccoon ( a first for me), a beautiful chatty macaw and other animals. We enjoyed our visit to the park so much we agreed it was well worth the 1.5 hour drive from Milwaukee. Take a drive thru downtown Oshkosh and see if you can spot all 20 mini murals painted outside of various buildings. (a map of the mural locations can be found online)

Fly like ironman and swim like a dolphin! Flyboard(ing) uses the propulsion from a personal watercraft (PWC) to run through a hose connected at the back of the PWC to bottom of the flyboard and out through pipes on the bottom of the board. The more power given from the PWC the higher you go. Check out our website and come experience the newest and most exciting watersport around!
