From the Magic Kingdom to magical spa treatments, Orlando sparkles with the promise of adventure. Spend a day exploring the world-famous Disney theme parks, giggling with the dolphins at SeaWorld, or screaming your head off on a Universal Studios roller coaster. For a less adrenaline-pumping afternoon, enjoy the quiet natural beauty of the Harry P. Leu Gardens, or enjoy a seaweed scrub at a luxury day spa. Savor fresh and local ingredients at one of Orlando’s James Beard-nominated restaurants.

Amway Center, which hosts major national events, concerts and family shows opened in the fall of 2010. The facility is owned and operated by the City of Orlando on behalf of the Central Florida community. The Amway Center was designed to reflect the character of the community, meet the goals of the users and build on the legacy of sports and entertainment in Orlando. The building’s exterior features a modern blend of glass and metal materials, along with ever-changing graphics via a monumental wall along one facade. A 180-foot tall tower serves as a beacon amid the downtown skyline. The 875,000 square foot, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certified building features a sustainable, environmentally-friendly design and unmatched technology. Amway Center was honored with TheStadiumBusiness Awards’ Customer Experience Award, named SportsBusiness Journal's Sports Facility of the Year and recently won the IAVM Venue Excellence Award.
We have been here several times now, both to watch the Orlando Magic and the Orlando Solar Bears (lets go Bears!), and weve had a fantastic experience each and every time. It is about 30-35 minutes (with traffic) away from the Disney resorts and costs around $35 dollars each way. They have some metal detectors which work a lot better than the ones at the Disney resort as they picked up a couple of my things that Disney didnt pick up. Once you are through security, it is a very well signposted arena with escalators and lifts/elevators, and a number of shops/merchandise stands. There are also plenty of places to buy food, drinks and snacks. There are a lot of bathrooms with good, clean facilities. The seating in the area is generous, with really good leg room and comfortable, wide seats which will suit most body sizes and shapes. They have big cup holders for your oversized American drinks and space under the seats for bags etc. It is a relatively compact arena, so, even the seats quite high up would have a decent view. Its always had a good atmosphere when weve been there, and the announcers and the Amway Center staff work hard to make it a good time. I go to watch football/soccer in the UK and i have a season ticket, and i find the American games a lot more interactive and fun; a lot less aggressive amongst fans! Id have no problems recommending either the Orlando Magic or the Orlando Solar Bears to families. If you are getting an Uber/Lyft from the game, there is a special area just 30 seconds walk from the arena to get to. If you are unsure where, once you are outside go to the Orlando Magic shop, have your back facing to the shop as if you were leaving and then just walk forward. 30 Seconds walk and you are there. In short - we love the Amway Center! A great place for a nights entertainment.

Attended event with family and was impressed with the facility. It was well maintained. The seating was dated but comfortable. Good quality audio/video. Several jumbotron screens for easy viewing and concession s had a good variety of food. The stadium staff was helpful with directions.
