Spend a day exploring the world-famous Disney theme parks, giggling with the dolphins at SeaWorld, or screaming your head off on a Universal Studios roller coaster. Oak Ridge Gun Range

Reviewed By SHiggins19 - Middlesbrough, United Kingdom

Father and son on vacation looked at doing some shooting, after browsing various websites for various ranges we concluded that Oak Ridge would be the best for us. We phoned in the day before to ask about prices and procedures, the staff were very helpful on the phone and answered every question we had. The next day, upon arrival we were greeted warmly and after initial completion of information and proof of identification we were ready to go! A staff member called Luis was extremely helpful in getting us orientated with the weapons and safety procedures, ensuring we knew everything we needed to know about using the range in a proficient manner (he even came onto the range with us to ensure we had the techniques down!) There was a very decent selection of weapons to choose from in the rentals section, ranging from handguns to shotguns, all of which were amazingly clean. It took us an hour and a half to go through 150 9mm rounds, which were reasonably priced. Overall, we had an amazing time here and could not recommend it enough. If you are unsure about which range to choose, choose this one, you will not regret it.

The Shooting Gallery

Very well run with polite friendly and knowledgeable staff. Range clean and well maintained. Pricing was also competitive (Glock 17 with 50 x 9mm rounds and desert Eagle with 5x 0.50cal rounds incl range fee and targets for approx $78). Visitor from New Zealand well used to plenty of skeet shooting but never fired handguns. Brilliant introduction to learning these characteristics in a safe environment.

I went to Orlando Gun Club to shoot 4 assault rifles as part of the 'Battle Package'. As soon as I arrived the staff were welcoming and easy to speak with. The registration process was quick and easy and throughout shooting the guns the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I also ended up shooting additional rounds (handgun and rifle) and the staff were helpful and trusting, allowing me to load and shoot the guns without being restricted with them loading everything, this level of trust and freedom added a huge amount to how enjoyable and immersive the experience was. I will 100% be going back next time I am in Florida and would love to join as a member if I was a resident there. Would 1000% recommend Orlando Gun Club to anyone, you won't be disappointed.

Chose this shop for the excellent reviews and I wasn't disappointed! The bad, a bit far for us, and the pistol range was crowded, noisy, and breezy. One lane broken. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra for the "rifle* range. The good, everything else! The staff is super nice and helpful. I had to ship 2 guns to Minnesota. They made it easy. We used the range to try our new 9mm. Breeze made targets unstable and shooting tight groups impossible. But the moving targets made for a simulated tactical situation. Lol. The best past was the concealed carry class taught by John. He did a great job and made it interesting, interactive and time flew. The reviews on the class was why I chose Riegs, and it paid off. I can't say enough good about our experience despite the poor pistol range. If you go for the concealed carry class, avoid Sunday. Too crowded. We went on Wed and only had 6 people in the class.

Impecible standard and top notch service all around. A wonderful facility with everything that anyone would need for a safe and responsible shooting experience. My husband wanted to practice with his new handgun and I tried a different 9 mm semi automatic. The staff was very accomodating; if you don't like the gun you are trying you can exchange for another to try instead. You buy the ammunition and try a gun you would like to use. Memberships available as well as different specials each day, instruction and classes, too.
