Open gallery "Art without a ticket" is a collection of works by artists and photographers of Orenburg and Orenburg region. You will get acquainted with the best representatives of regional art. The exposition is changed every 3 months. The gallery is located in the shopping center. Opening hours: daily from 10: 00 to 22: 00. Admission is free.

A new small museum located in the heart of the Orenburg walking area in the basement of the Orenburg Tourist and Information Centre invites the guests every day from 11.00 till 20.00. The entrance is free. The artifacts represent 30 persons who are related to Orenburg. Some of them were born here, the others lived in our city as evacuees, they studied or worked in Orenburg: a musician Mstislav Rostropovich, the first astronaut Yuri Gagarin, a French writer Maurice Druon, a founder of the Munich resistant group "White Rose" Alexander Schmorell, the strongest man of the Earth Alexander Zass, the leader of the USSR Georgy Malenkov and Viktor Chernomyrdin, Prime Minister of Russia in 1992-98. All the artifacts have footnotes in the Russian and English languages. The monitors installed near each museum character share video information about them with the visitors. Orenburg Regional Museum of Fine Arts, was founded in 1960 and opened in 1961. Museum is located in a building dating back to the beginning of XIX century and was designed by the architect Michael Malakhov for the City Council. The basis of the museum's collection is the collection of academician of painting, one of the most interesting representatives of the late Peredvizhnichestvo Lukian Vasilievich Popov (1873-1914), who was born and worked for many years in Orenburg. The museum is housing works of ancient, Russian, Soviet and Western European art from the end of the XVI century to the present, including painting, drawing, sculpture, arts and crafts. Russian art of the XIX century is represented by various genres, mostly scenery. Among the works there are masterpieces of Ivan Aivazovsky, L.F. Lagorio, A.K. Savrasova N.
