Kayaking at Spring Bay Inn

On a guided kayak tour we'll watch for bald eagles, harbor seals, river otters, sea birds, and an amazing variety of tidal sea life as we ply the waters of the San Juans. We use double kayaks, fiberglass, with all equipment provided.

Orcas W.I.L.D. is an interpretive center focused on the ecology and natural history of Orcas Island and the Salish Sea. Explore our educational displays about whales, birds, fish, geology, and more. We have an interactive space with a touch tank to explore creatures of the intertidal zone, videos about the wildlife of the region, sounds of whales, and we are staffed by local naturalist guides.

SIMPLE EASY FUN SEA KAYAKING! Located right at the Orcas ferry landing! Walk up and paddle for a little while and explore while you wait for the ferry or just want to feel the calm on the water! We have guides for safety and guidance! Orcas Outdoors works with Shearwater and wants to ensure all kayakers are safe and enjoy their time on Orcas Island! We do not PROMOTE WHALES...although its magical to see them and they swim all over the islands we do not search for them and we are very thankful when we get to see them!
