On a guided kayak tour we'll watch for bald eagles, harbor seals, river otters, sea birds, and an amazing variety of tidal sea life as we ply the waters of the San Juans. We use double kayaks, fiberglass, with all equipment provided.

Orcas W.I.L.D. is an interpretive center focused on the ecology and natural history of Orcas Island and the Salish Sea. Explore our educational displays about whales, birds, fish, geology, and more. We have an interactive space with a touch tank to explore creatures of the intertidal zone, videos about the wildlife of the region, sounds of whales, and we are staffed by local naturalist guides.

We are located in the heart of Moran State Park – a 5,579 acre pristine forest camping park with 5 freshwater lakes, fantastic waterfalls, and over 30 miles of hiking trails.
