Former Canterbury Bankstown Bulldog Peter Mortimer, his wife Julie and their five sons - Michael, James, Tim, Daniel and Robbie planted Chestnut Garth vineyard in 1996.The original Old March Schoolhouse, located in front of our vineyard, was puchased in 2007 and has worked perfectly for us as our Cellar Door. Open weekends from 11 - 5 pm we do wine tastings, serve hot soup in winter by the open fire, as well as ploughmans platters, coffee and homemade cakes. Located just 4 kms from the northern distributor.

I have worked in some of the most well respected wineries in the Orange region. I would like to share my local knowledge and experience by hosting exclusive wine tours and tastings by offering individually designed tours.

Pioneer Brewing Co. commenced full scale production in December 2017. We are located on our family farm in 25mins from Orange. We are quite unique in that we grow our own malting grain, harvest it, have it malted and then create beer with it. Our beers have a fresh and clean finish on the palate which many believe is due to us brewing with water harvested on farm to brew all our beers with.

Small Acres Cyder are the first and sole producers of locally grown, locally made cider in the Central West, NSW Australia. We produce a range of ciders made with the fresh juice of cider apples and drawing on traditional methods of authentic cider production. The results are for everyone to enjoy with a number of award winning ciders and perrys. The inspiration for Small Acres Cyder came from our founders not being able to find a choice of premium ciders in Australia. Gail Kendell grew up in the UK and used to drink traditional cider made from cider apples, and frustrated with not having a similar choice in Australia, set about making her own. Since then Small Acres Cyder has achieved great success with the simple formula of great quality ciders made with passion from locally grown apples and pears. Leading the Australian craft cider market we have won more than 130 industry awards including Most Successful Small Producer 2017, 2018 and 2019.

We offer an easy and luxurious way in our modern fleet of vehicles to experience the fabulous cold climate wine region of Orange and surrounds. We have partnered with some of the best viticulturists in Orange to bring you our exclusive tours of this unique wine-growing environment not found anywhere else in Australia. Our tours range in scale from first-time wine tasters to a more experienced palette wishing to gain knowledge of our region-specific flavours. Tours can also be tailored to suit specific needs, visiting award winning cellar doors with the opportunity to get behind the scene with guided tours of large and small wineries. In partnership with many restaurants, cafes and cellar doors we can provide an extensive number of lunch options. We can plan tours to suit the most discerning customers. We offer tours for groups 2 to 10 both private or shared. Our goal is anything is possible. We also offer wine tasting charter services

Orange Mountain Wines is a small family owned and run winery specialising in cool climate wine styles. Visit the cellar door and you will most likely be tasting with the winemaker and owner Terry and his wife Julie. We welcome you to try our range of national and internationally awarded wines. We make Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz/ Viognier, Cabernet Franc and in dessert wines Mountain Ice Viognier and Cherry Liqueur to finish. We offer personalised tours of the winery and vineyard and you are more than welcome to bring a picnic basket of your own and enjoy our gardens while you taste the wines.
