Orange County Zoo

This zoo is inside the Irvine Regional Park, so you need to pay to enter in the park and you need to pay to enter in the zoo . The zoo is pretty small and you can visit it in 30 - 45 minutes but it is cute, there is a bit of every thing here and the staff work hard on this small zoo. I have been to this zoo many times and my son loves it. The petting area is really nice and they have always great activities during Holidays.

Went for a 5 mile hike here on Sunday morning and had a great time. Nice views from top of hills and lots of varied terrain. We saw lots of people on mountain bikes but they were all very courteous to hikers. Also saw some bird watchers. If your in the area, this is a great park to visit.

Black Star Canyon Trail

Takes about 4 hours total there and back if you take your time. First half is flat, the second half you’re climbing over rocks and boulders along side a creek leading up to a beautiful waterfall. The hike was fun and gorgeous. People had dogs with them, and people of all ages were able to make it to the waterfall.

We were able to stop in and check out the skate park and shop a couple of times during our visit to Disneyland and I so recommend checking this place out! My 14 year old skates and was so bummed he didnt bring his board, however they do offer board and helmet rentals for a great price if wanted! The staff in the shop were all super helpful and ready with a smile to answer any questions you have!!
