Our rafting trips range from calm family trips to some of the most extreme experience you can enjoy in European rivers. In one raft there is room for 4 – 6 people and a professional guide. You will be attired in a Neoprene wetsuit and jacket, wet shoes, a helmet and a life jacket. Instruction about rafting will be given to all the participants, and we specially focus on the obligatory safety talk, enabling you to be as safe as possible, before each trip. DS Skibladner is over 160 years old and provides an authentic experience of steamship traffic in the 1800s. M/B Bitihorn Day Tour

M/B Bitihorn is a passenger boat from 1912 on the Bygdin lake in Vang in Valdres and Jotunheimen. The boat is registered for 98 passengers and runs from Bygdin to Eidsbugarden with a middle stop at Torfinnsbu. The season starts in late June and ends in the middle of September. Take a round trip on M/B Bitihorn to explore some of the beautiful sights in Jotunheimen or as a transport to for example Torfinnsbu to start one of many great hikes in Jotunheimen National Park.

Gjendebaaten

Gjende lies 984 metres above sea level and has peaks of more than 2,000 metres on all sides. Barely an hour by boat from the car park at Gjendesheim, you have Jotunheimen National Park and many fantastic walks before your feet. Want to walk the Besseggen ridge? Most people choose to walk Besseggen from Memurubu to Gjendesheim. We have up to 7 departures a day from the quay at Gjendesheim to Memurubu (Besseggen) and Gjendebu. There are two return departures from Gjendebu. Find your departure and book your ticket on our website!

Rafting is a popular summer activity, and now you can raft in winter also! This however, is rafting with a twist. Substituting a river for a banked snow channel, this is the perfect activity for all you adrenaline sport enthusiasts. Snow rafting is a fun activity for all the family, both big and small (from 7 years). The thrill of jumping into the rafting boat and heading down the snowy slopes, has put a big smile on all the hundreds of participants who have taken the trip on our Snowrafting course. After completing several trips in the raft, guests will be able to relax around the fire in the tee-pee with a hot drink. All participants can borrow a helmet from us, or you can bring your own. Remember to wear clothes according to the weather conditions (i.e. clothes you would wear for skiing or snowboarding). Hat and gloves are a "must". Ski boots are not allowed to be worn, rather, we recommend wearing winter boots or snowboarding boots.
