Last weekend was crazy in Brockville, Ribfest, the Grand Re-Opening of Canada's First Train Tunnel and the World's Largest Rubber Duck, so we grabbed some lunch and headed to St-Lawrence Park, because they have lots of picnic tables, free access and beautiful patios we can use. Surprisingly the place was pretty quiet which was the perfect place to go. Great breeze from the St-Lawrence River, accessible for swimming and watching the boats and Lakers go by. Also a camp site for those seeking a nice spot, bring the kids and enjoy a relaxing weekend.

This was the first escape room visit for grandma and grandpa, the twentieth for mom and the second for 6-year-old grandson. We all had a wonderful time, and the puzzles were just the right difficulty, with contributions from each of our team members, and the integration of the railway caboose and its history into the mystery was really good. The expert (mom) said it was one of the best escape rooms she had been through. The host was very friendly, informative and helpful. This hour long visit would be suitable for any small group of adults and kids who like puzzles. There are windows throughout the caboose and enough space that it shouldn't be a problem for people who are uncomfortable in confined spaces. It is workable for people with some mobility issues, although there isn't enough room for wheelchairs and walkers, and there's a few stairs. Recommended!

They raised the buffet prices and everyone stopped going to the casino. If they keep the buffet prices at $6.99 U.S., per person. I would suspect that everyone would go there. When I went there, I was only going for the cheap buffet, but ended up losing $1000 on roulette while I was there. So if you do go to the casino, only try to bring enough for the buffet and dont bring your credit cards.
