We went as an adult family for the annual Christmas open house. This is a beautiful conservation area with a pond, covered bridge and mill. For the open house, the buildings were open, featuring hot cider, cookies and hot chocolate. There were horse drawn sleigh rides and a choir singing Christmas music. This is a beautiful place anytime but especially enjoy this annual event.

The Minden river walk is an easy walk along a beautiful river. It's maybe a couple of km in length, taking about 30-45 minutes to complete. Very relaxing! You start on the Main Street right at the bridge in town, walk along one side of the river, cross a quaint little walking bridge, and return on the other side. The path is well-maintained. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Out for couple hours with girlfriends. Excellent stretch of our legs after day of driving. Main trail was hard but melting. Not slippy. We stopped to watch rock climbers at Eagles Nest. Incredible spot and views. Took plan less traveled along ridge on way back. Much more narrow. And there were some serious icy sections that took a lot of care traversing. Well worth visiting. Parking was full and a lot of cars up the road. Still worth it.
