Housed in the former CPR Railway Station, The Station Theatre opened in April 2010 after more than 11 years of planning, fundraising and construction. The 140 seat facility has become a focus for the performing arts in Smiths Falls as well as a sought-after venue for meetings and receptions. The Station Theatre brings the opportunity to enjoy live theatre, concerts and movies and to have the thrill of appearing on stage in local productions.

This was my first time to this theatre with 7 other returning guests.....and hopefully not my last time! This small town theater has all world talent! It was definitely a “Naughty” version of Old Mother Goose.....which had us all laughing our (beep’s) off! The actors were all hilarious, amazing & amusing singers & dancers! We pre-ordered our drinks for the intermission - what a great service! The ushers & bar staff were all professional & friendly! Overall a great Christmas event!

The Bancroft Village Playhouse offers audiences intimate access to live music, theatre and film. Drawing on local talent as well as nationally recognized names and acts, the Playhouse is the heart of Bancroft's Theatre District. With monthly TIFF screenings and community events like 'Croft Talks Live, there's always something going on at the historic theatre that is by operated by Hospice North Hastings in partnership with St. Paul's United Church. Proceeds from Playhouse events support the free programs and services provided by Hospice North Hastings which is why we say the Playhouse supports "Caring through Culture."

5. Flinton Community Jamboree
We have a fun, music-filled weekend planned. Starting with an acoustic night on Thursday. Open Mics are lined up for Friday and Saturday. A slate of great musicians are scheduled to entertain you. The dance floor will be available again this year. Music genres include "Country, old Rock and Roll and Bluegrass".
