This is a first class course, offering a great challenge to all levels of player. Beautifully laid out in the sand based lands around this part of Nottinghamshire, it deservedly attracts top events, including the Open Final qualifier. Great value for the quality of the golf challenge. Always a friendly welcome at the clubhouse. A must for any serious golfer.

We had a Christmas lunch in the Wentworth suite for 57 choir members. We had a great time, the room and tables were decorated beautifully for Christmas. The staff were very friendly and the meal was served very professionally. The carvery served in the room was delicious as were starters and desserts. Amazing value for money too. We were able to sing some of our repertoire of songs with great acoustics in the room. Finally, Wes was fantastic At liaising with me and did a wonderful job organising the lunch. He was there during the lunch to make sure everything went smoothly too, Thank you Wes. We will definitely be back in 2010!!

Plenty to do here for all ages... Came with the rug rats, walked down to the fjord and watched the cars go thru.. Great how it's such a simple thing, yet kids and adults alike are cheering when a car goes thru fast.... And thumbs down when they don't... Just good fun for all... The cafe / visitor ares here are also extremely good. Shops to view all manner of trinkets/ art etc and of course great ice creams too. Viewing the lake and many birds on it to pass the time away and walk around the lake, which is laid out well for all manner of physical ability's to enjoy..... Take photos and wander around the abbey itself and view the rest of the facilities..... A really good enjoyable day for all. Take a picnic or dine in the really nice restaurants..... Good fun for all.....

My friend, Chris, and I hadn't played in many years, so following a year of lockdown we wanted to get out. We booked the driving range and were knocked out by how friendly staff were, how modern the amenities and what a generally great experience we had. I'd forgotten a mask, but the guys on the snacks kiosk gave me one, and away we went. We both had such a great time that we've booked again for this coming Wednesday and are going to also try both courses soon as well. As we were leaving I was asking incoming golfers if we needed to be members to play the courses and a lovely lady behind me gave me all the info I needed (anyone can play) As we reached our car I told her what a great place it was and she said 'Thank you, we worked hard to get it as it is!' So, I'm guessing we inadvertently met the manager, Theresa, too. Bonus!! Seriously though, Ramsdale Park is an amazing place that's family friendly and lots of fun. We both ached all over next day, so we must be using muscles we'd forgotten about. Thanks Ramsdale. See you soon.,
