Absolutely wonderful! Myself and three friends (in our thirties) did the trekking experience and it was really fun getting up close and personal with the alpacas, walking and feeding them. There is also a shop and cafe which is really lovely with a view of the alpacas right in front of the window or, if you're seated outdoors, the alpacas come right up to the fence which is super cute.

Such a lovely place to visit. I went on the meet and greet which was amazing. Dani, our guide, was lovely and very knowledgeable, telling us all about Alpacas and could answer the questions people asked without hesitation. It was such a thrill to feed the gorgeous alpacas which are so well cared for at the farm. We finished off with a lovely coffee and delicious cake and treated ourselves to some soft and cosy alpaca socks from the gift shop. Everything was clean and social distancing observed with hand washing facilities and sanitiser available throughout. It was all a lovely experience and we look forward to visiting again. I’m definitely recommending it to friends, great for young and old and a fab place to take the kids. Enjoy.

White Post Farm

We visited here a long time ago (nearly 8 years) and I remember it being fine but a bit limited - enough for our then 2 year old but maybe not that much more. This visit with 10 and 7 year old was great - there is a spanking new birds of prey section, reptiles, small animals (guinea pigs, degu etc), larger farm animals, llamas, wallabies (whose enclosure you can walk through) and a good play park. We happily spent nearly four hours there and could have done a bit more had it not been 30 degrees!

Visited at the weekend as we had an hour to spare before lunch. Lovely little farm ran by volunteers. Full Covid-19 rules in force, staff were very helpful and informative about what to do and the systems in place. A donation is asked which you can be done by phone. Lots of animals to feed and a nice play area for younger ones. Lovely little place to support local areas and was lovely to see the kids off the local estate volunteering.

What a lovely discovery. Fields of beautiful wildflowers to walk through. Dog friendly, great place to take your dog & perfect for young children as extremely safe. Very nice cafe with lots of safe outside tables, pretty outdoor area to eat homemade cakes & drink good coffee. 200^ degree coffee served. We ate beetroot& chocolate cake & courgette& avocado cake. Absolutely delicious! Bought some wildflower plants & seeds from their small retail outlet. Their brochure for seed sales is so informative. I love this place, I’ll be back very soon. Summer strolling across wildflower fields followed by cake... What could be nicer?

Ferry Farm Country Park

My family and I has such a lovely visit to this farm over Easter. It was a real hands on experience: bottle feeding lambs, hand feeding goats, piglets and donkeys and holding rabbits and guinea pigs. The staff are ever so approachable and knowledgable and spent time talking to us about the farm and their animals. There is also an indoor and outdoor play area for small children. The cafe has a lovely selection of homemade cakes and meals. Ferry Farm is a lovely place to go for a relaxed family day and has more of a personal feel then bigger alternatives.

Great day out with the children... little jacks is a lovely little farm with a few large holding pens around a walk way with goats, sheep, donkeys, cows, pigs and smaller animals in a petting area rabbits and birds. They sell bags of food for large animals and small animals 95p a bag I think may have been less, my children loved feeding the chickens with them all running around us. There’s is lots of play space for the children with climbing frames, balancing beams, soft play inside and outside, trampolines, sand pit and ride on cars. A brilliant cafe, our food was amazing and delicious and not too pricey. We will definitely be visiting again soon

Floralands Farm Park

Family friendly farm park with lots of animals and a play park. We hold daily animal handling activities and during school holidays have lots of special activities put on to entertain the children. On the site there is also a Café, gift shop and garden centre on site along with some small craft cabins. Overall there is something for everyone for a good day out.

the grandkids loved it the adventure swing park and the feeding the animals here and my eldest wanted to bring a goat home as she fell in love with him we went into the cafe to have a hot drink to get warm and the kids juice was a bit overpriced but it was worth the time and effort and we will return when it is a bit warmer
