A Christmas trip to see Hansel & Gretel. Our two small children LOVED this, quite original presentation was superb. Waiting in the foyer we could see numerous examples of puppets, some of them were so simple but the effect was amazing.

What a great night we all had, didn’t know anything about the show and within 20 minutes I thought a standing ovation was coming, all the cast were fantastic and captivated us throughout the performance with Kayi Ushe being outstanding, many thanks.

Went there recently to see Sir Ian McKellen and in past to see rock and blues bands. In all circumstances the acoustics seem great and the sightlines equally so. All the volunteer staff are friendly and helpful. All in all a great venue and one which we should all support.

This city-centre theatre is known for its quirky, offbeat and brilliant shows, and its ever popular bar. A firm favourite across Norwich, the Playhouse brings big-name comedians, fantastic Fringe productions, magnificent music, amazing drama, great family shows, and so much more to the region. The intimate auditorium has just been refurbished, and is even more comfortable than before.
Really good evening. Karl Minns did a one man show and the audience laughed from the minute he came on stage to the moment he left. Can’t wait for the next show! The bar scene makes me want to be young again as it attracts a lot of student types. Great selection of drinks anything from a cup of tea to a locally brewed beer.

Well setup and used venue for music in Norwich. Door staff were polite and friendly, desk staff too. Good group of friends enjoyed a great safe night here. Only criticism would be the wait at the bar, great sized bar, just poorly staffed in terms of volume. Will use again.
