This museum is so far my favourite thing in Iceland - and believe me I love Iceland. I made a special trip as I knew I must see this museum (I couldnt visit my first drive past but terrible weather meant I unexpectedly came back this way.) The *wonderful* lady who owns it knew I hadn't managed to visit on my earlier drive past, opened it specially for me. She told me all about the fortune telling styles she and her colleagues used in specially and beautifully designed rooms (get a reading if you get the chance, I couldnt as the storm was fast on my heels and I needed to keep driving, I know I will regret it until I can come back!) I heard the stories of the original seer and the methods used by her and other Icelandic practitioners. A rare female icon of the sagas. The proprietor was funny and informative and I wish I had been able to spend much more time there. It's in a gorgeous nook of Iceland, watch out for key baring ravens and give finding the lost treasure a try :).

Horse tours in Northern Iceland. We offer guided horse tours with one of us, the local farmers at Langhus farm, or our assistant guides. We have well trained horses, steady and obedient, they are our family and work horses, and we have horses for both beginners and experienced riders. Get to know the nature, the horses and the culture. We love horse tours. It's been our passion, all our life. To go out in the nature, be a team with our horse, and cross beautiful places, and sometimes tough landscape, that molded our beloved Icelandic horse. We take the time to match you with the right horse for you, and to give good instructions about riding so you can enjoy the tour better. We emphasize on a personal experience and small groups. The small group size allows good levels of dialogue along the way. Just feel free to contact us and we make something wonderful together, and more important, have fun. Our niche is creating unique, intimate, authentic experiences, off the beaten path.
Owner and staff super friendly and very helpful. Actually helps newbies, and also have great horses for experienced riders. The horses looked well kept and happy. The scenery is gorgeous of course. Choose this as your riding spot. Really really. Utterly loved it! -And yes I've been to various tourist riding whatnot, and it's a gem. :)

We did a fantastic horse ride with Antonia for 2 hours. We were a group of no to little experienced riders. Nevertheless we felt very comfortable and secure throughout the ride due to the good guidance we got. It took probably a lot of effort to keep an eye on us, but we also did have a nice chat and were taught some basics of riding. The ride itself was through a wonderful landscape with fields and rivers, which we crossed. Totally recommendable!
