Lived in Alexandria 10 years ago before pcbc. Wish it was open when i lived here. Great beer and atmosphere. Had a flight and enjoyed every beer there, especially the Oktoberfest and IPA. Coming back here in September!!!

We are comfortably nestled in Blue Ridge Mountains 1 mile outside of the village of Bluemont. From plow to pint, our focus is small batch hand crafted beer from fresh ingredients grown on our family farm, Great Country Farms. The Brewery is a natural " fermentation" extension to our 400 acre farm. The Zurschmeide family has been farming in Loudoun County for over 40 years. Our name, "Dirt Farm" pays homage to our farming heritage that spans three generations. We are grateful to work and play surrounded by our own family and many friends. We welcome you to bring yours & slow down a bit the Country. It is an exciting time in the Virginia Craft Beer Industry. We have only scratched the surface with farming and beer.
We've been to Bluemont Winery a few times already, and today we decided to go for the brewery beside it - what a great surprise! The ambiance was super nice, the view amazing as expected, and the beer was great. Totally worth the ride!

We have been coming here for a couple of years. Its truly a favorite of ours. Wait staff are very friendly and helpful. We bring our dog, and wait staff are as welcoming of him as they are of us. Beer is very good, with nice seasonal choices as well as favorite standards. They have a variety of choices of beer styles, although thier IPAs are my go-to. Nice setting, and a rotatingchoice of food trucks -- all great and nicely priced

Aslin Beer Co. has a takeout location in Herndon with a new tasting room under construction. Their brewing facility and tasting room is now in Alexandria. You can get takeout cans at both locations. Many people have stood in line for this beer and rightly so because it’s amazing! Great IPA’S Stouts, Sours and Pilsners-there always something for everyone. Their ability to make great combinations for the utmost flavor is their forte. The food truck in Alexandria has a rotating menu so it’s never the same old thing for food options. Definitely worth the trip to Alexandria. But if you just want great tasting beer right in Herndon- just pop in for some takeout. Looking forward to their new tasting room in Herndon when it opens.

Now that beer drinkers aren't segregated from the rest of the property, QG is even better. The wide open area is great for families on a nice day, and there are great choices at the bar and in the kitchen. Take your kids and have a great time!

On a trip to Philly then down to Winchester VA we spent a few nights in Fairfax VA to visit a cousin. She said there's a new brewery close by so we visited Mustang Sally Brewery. Warehouse type atmosphere, high ceiling and wide open. Lots of room for parties. Had corn hole set up to play. Looks like a great place to have a private party. Anyhow I was there for the beer! And the beer was great.

Our love of craft beer is huge, as is our love of Lake Anne and Reston, which ultimately lead us to this mission: To create a community-focused taproom, brewing small-batch, hand-crafted beer, and to serve it up lakeside on our amazing deck and patio overlooking beautiful Lake Anne. Brews with views… what more could you ask for? Our community-focused brewery embraces the ‘Live-Work-Play’ philosophy that Robert E. Simon built this place to be, and we strive to uphold his ideals in all that we do as a business. We built this business for all of you, for our community, and for the greater community of craft beer drinkers. Brewing Beer | Building Community
