Northern Ostrobothnia (Finnish: Pohjois-Pohjanmaa; Swedish: Norra Österbotten) is a region of Finland. It borders the Finnish regions of Lapland, Kainuu, Northern Savonia, Central Finland and Central Ostrobothnia, as well as the Russian Republic of Karelia.

Interesting place to visit and shop in the Kuusamo town centre. The heart of the Bjarmia hall is the ceramics factory, where Bjarmia-ceramics have been made by hand since 1974. In the two floors of Bjarmia hall you can also find large selection of Finnish handicrafts, souvenirs and other beautiful items representing both Finnish and Scandinavian design - including famous Finnish brands Marimekko and Aarikka.

I was here for a week and could find souvenirs to bring back home. The people are very nice and you can seat to enjoy a coffee inside.

One of the largest galleries in Oulu is open for public during the summer exhibitions as well as by appointment. It is also the atelier of figurative painter Sampo Kaikkonen. It is located on an old farm in the countryside of the City of Oulu in Northern Finland. In addition to exhibitions the atelier space also hosts courses and events.
