During our photography tour we ill stop on the Atlantic side, the wildest , where nature shows its purest and untamed side. Gimsøya, the wild side; Eggum and its colorful houses; Haukland and its white sand, Unstad, the surfers' paradise: these are are just some of the beauties that these islands offer. But the islands are also fishing hamlets full of colors surrounded by corners which make these islands a paradise for photographers. Kabelvåg and Henningsvær with their fishermen’s houses, wooden racks, fishing boats, historical buildings are just some of these historical sites that, together with the beauty of nature and the power of the Arctic lights will capture your imagination. Join us for an exciting hunt for the Northern Light. Learn the basic techniques for shooting the Northern Lights. You will be picked up at the hotel, and you can go by car to the mountains. The conditions are checked in advance so that the goal for the evening can be reached. Lectures and information are held before we go to see the Northern Lights. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and we cannot guarantee that you will see it on this trip, but we do what we can to maximize your opportunities. This excursion is suitable for everyone. When visiting Tromsø, exploring Kvaløya is a must do! An island packed with raw landscapes, endless mountains, arctic beaches, to breathtaking fjords, and (frozen) lakes. Enjoy the ever changing landscapes, and be sure to look out for roaming wildlife. We have the possibilities to spot soaring sea eagles, native reindeers, and the elusive moose. There will be several scenic stops along the way, perfect for photo moments, which we will share with you after the trip. Upon reaching the archipelago islands, we will enjoy an organic homemade light picnic, and a warm drink. As we continue through the mountain valley, passing quaint fishing villages, and making a final stop at one of the most dramatic fjords on the island. Our custom built 4x4 tour van, is fully equipped with everything we may need in the arctic, allowing us to discover remote scenery, reaching the more calm and peaceful places. As a small group of no more than 8 people, we pick you up at a central location, allowing us more time for finding, and seeing the Aurora earlier! With no two nights the same, our enthusiasm and dedication never fades. Upon reaching suitable skies, we will set up camp for the evening. We pick you up at Scandic Ishavshotel in Tromso 8:50 am, drive you to the Lyngen Alps, provide you special clothing and take you on a 2 hrs Snowmobile photographic Safari along the beautiful Lyngen Fjords & Alps. After the Snowmobile excursion we have lunch and then you can choose to go snowshoeing and/or cross-country skiing or just relax in your Crystal Lavvo. We meet again at 7:30 pm for a short photography workshop and dinner. Here we give you warm suits, tripods, and teach you how to take Northern Lights pictures. Then we go on a photographic Northern Lights Chase right outside the Green Gold Villa before you spend the night in one of our six private Crystal Lavvos with glass roof where (weather permitting) you might see the Aurora from your bed! Please note that this is an adventure where you must add wood to your wood ovens yourself. Please note that the toilets are shared. In the morning we have breakfast, and then we start our panoramic drive (back in Tromso 11 am).

The trip will be ridden by a local guide, with great knowledge of the place. The guide has been chasing Northern Lights during many years, and he is really experienced. It is not a fixed tour, to an specific location. We will go to the place with the most chances. If we manage to see the Northern Lights, you will come back home with beautiful photos.
