Not many courses have every hole with views of the sea. Challenging in a gale force wind but overall one of the best courses we have played. Great club house and friendly caddies show you the best lines. I felt it was as good as Royal County Down. A must see for all golfers.

What can I say...the motto “we arrived as visitors and left as friends” couldn’t possibly be any truer!! Within 30 seconds of arriving at the bar after a solo round cut short by the weather during a work trip, I was welcomed by Joe and having been introduced to another half a dozen people was subsequently invited to join them in their social roll up the following day. ☺️ Not bad for a rain drenched Englishman!! Several beers and stories later I felt completely at ease with these guys. Unfortunately I won’t be able to return on this visit, but will most certainly be rejoining Joe, Robert, Frank, Marty and all the others when I return in October. If you want to test your skills on an immaculate, yet tough, course with some of the most breathtaking views in Northern Ireland then this is the place for you. See you soon guys. ????️♂️????????

Mature parkland course on an estate of some 330 acres, yet only 5 miles from Belfast city centre. Founded in 1895, and has been located at the present site since 1962. One of Northern Ireland's best parkland courses and a hidden gem.

Players require a lot of skill and concentration to master this challenging 18-hole Championship Golf Course.
Enjoyed a Monday Open day at Royal Portrush with Open Sunday pin positions. Made to feel extremely welcome from the moment I drove in through the front gates. Staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Excellent pro shop with a fine selection of mementos of the day. Driving range and Trackman experience prior to teeing off were welcome opportunities to warm up. Definitely arrive 60-90 minutes early to make use of these facilities. The course itself is immaculate and more than lived up to its billing. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are out of this world and the rough, whilst penal, generally will allow you to find a ball hit offline. If you get the chance to play Royal Portrush Golf Club, definitely grab it with both hands!!
