Enjoy a captain's-eye view of Georgian Bay's 30,000 Islands Biosphere Reserve aboard the 550-passenger Island Queen. We offer sightseeing cruises that bring passengers surprisingly up-close to the pristine beauty of Georgian Bay's remote island wilderness and the rustic charm of its grand summer cottages. The Island Queen is fully equipped with comfortable seating, large viewing windows, outside observation decks, wheelchair accessible washrooms, a snack bar, a full commentary and heat for our fall colour cruises. Cruises depart daily from June 1 to mid-October each year from the town dock in Parry Sound, Ontario. New this year is the "Islander", our brand new 40-passenger vessel! We're offering two tours on the Islander, a lunch tour to Henry's World Famous Fish Restaurant on Frying Pan Island and a guided hiking tour to Huckleberry Island, where staff from the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve will join us for a casual stroll over the rocks. Chocpaw Expedition was founded in 1975 by Paul and MArgaret Reid. Our mission continues to be to combine the thrill of dog sledding with education focussing on the history of sledding in terms of Canadian experience and, teaching outdoor survival skills and teamwork. Many clients have attested to the achievement of our mission from the experience of a 1-6 day dog sledding expedition.

I am an educator with a background in outdoor and experiential education and have been working with people of all ages in outdoor settings for more than 25 years. My partner Scott and I offer a number of creative land based workshops for all ages on Manitoulin Island. I am also a trained Forest Therapy Guide and offer forest bathing walks - an experience that I share with others who are also interested in deepening their connection with nature.

I am a naturalist, artisan and traveler. I am also an educator with a background in Outdoor, Ecological and Experiential Education and have been working with people of all ages in outdoor settings for more than 20 years. Gathering inspiration from nature my partner Scott and I offer a number of traditional skills and handcrafting workshops through our business Flint + Flora on Manitoulin Island.
