A beautiful park situated in central Sudbury which surrounds Lake Ramsey. A beautiful beach with lots of things to do many festivals are held here including the blueberry Festival and the northern lights Festival boreal. A Great place for swimming and boating and having a picnic with your family. There is a change rooms and washrooms and even a snack bar. There Are Beautiful gardens with many different species of flowers many people have used it as backdrops for wedding photos and family photos. There’s a big play area for the kids and a nice area that you can just walk your dogs. Great place to take the kids in the summer. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Sudbury it’s beautiful.

Hard to believe that with such a rugged and rocky shoreline that's typically associated with Lake Superior, that you can find such a large sandy beach with high quality sand! You can walk for over a mile from the rocky face at the north end to the private cottage area to the south. If you can stand the cool water temperature it's even a great place for a swim!

What a lovely treasure in North Bay, my family (husband/2 teens) really enjoyed taking a stroll along the boardwalk, seeing all of the boats and admiring the views from the beach. Water is very clean, and beach is as well and not overly crowded. Great backdrop for pictures/selfies. Chip truck in the parking lot, what else could you ask for on a lovely summer evening.

Too bad we visited on a rainy day. The beach is beautiful and long, and even on a rainy day it was nice to see the pebbles and the sand, the water, we walked through the passerelle that goes along the beach (and got soaking wet). The place was deserted when we visited but I can imagine there would be people on a sunny day. Still far from being crowded. perhaps the best spot on Manitoulin island.
