18 hole championship golf course, pro shop, practice range, clubhouse and restaurant. Panoramic views, excellent catering. 550 yards walk from the castle, open to the public, full bar lunches, dinners etc.
A very welcoming golf club. First of all Aled Owen the pro is a most accommodating , knowledgable and personable guy. The course was surprisingly green after the recent hot summer and had excellent lies, greens were also very good. New paths and several holes tidied up have improved the course greatly. Some really lovely holes without the need to look for balls all the time. After your round make sure you sample the catering,we all had a lovely “ traditional “ Welsh Sunday lunch with “ proper “ gravy. We will be back!

9 hole family friendly pitch & putt and Footgolf course. This is a miniature golf course, fun and testing for all ages & ability. Ideal for all age ranges 3+, great for groups of any size, or even a good knock on your own!. This is nothing like any pitch & putt you’ve played before, set in picturesque surroundings with spectacular views over Llandudno, Conwy and beyond. One of the best value attractions in North Wales at only £15 for a family of 4, and only £6 per adult round, once you’ve been you will be back year on year!.

Aberdovey Recreation Ground consists of 6 rinks of lawn bowls, tennis courts, an 18 hole putting green and a croquet lawn. All facilities are open to either members who pay an annual fee or to the public who can purchase a season ticket or pay as you play - its up to you !
Checked in on the 1st of September 2020 for a 2 night stay and husband and son having two rounds of golf. Two adults and two children aged 13 and 12. Check in with friendly staff at the pro shop. We had two twin rooms with interconnected rooms, so that meant two bathroom facilities too!! Clean, tidy, tea/coffee facilities, lovely walk in shower unit with plenty of hot water. Basic accommodation but plentiful for us. Golf storage cupboard too!! Opening the windows to the 18th hole (I’m not the golfer but it was a very beautiful view). 4 minute walk to the beach over the dunes, lovely and quiet. Train runs behind the club and you cross the tracks to get to the golf club, very different. The club house had a varied and lovely menu, tapas on offer all day too, fabulous food and we enjoyed full breakfast and lovely lunches there!! Freshly Cooked, friendly waiting on and kitchen staff and a very funny and endearing bar man (Denny)...inexpensive drinks menu, great choices of beers on tap. The home made cakes on offer were to die for, I had an Eccles cake and kids had a banana bread slice and both absolutely delicious. Covid19 safety was taken seriously and was very well executed.... The golf course was interesting and challenging apparently and both enjoyed the course and my son also had a golf lesson with Rich, who was also very lovely and encouraging... Lovely members who happily welcomed us into their facilities for the two nights stay. We will return...thank you all ????????

This championship golf course has many things going for it, especially the magnificent scenery highlighted by the vast range of mountains to the north, and historic Harlech Castle casting its shadow from above.
Despite the rain, another enjoyable round on this famous and fabulous course. A true test of golf, particularly the last 4 or 5 holes where you really need your best game on the day. Unusual for the 18th to be a par 3. The course was in great condition despite the rain and all the staff are friendly and helpful. Good bacon butties in the clubhouse too!

Silver Birch Golf Club is probably the most popular 'pay & play' golf course on the North Wales golfing scene. Situated within the picturesque rural village of Betws yn Rhos, enjoy stunning views of the sea and hills on both of our 9-hole courses. Unwind as you play one of our 9-hole courses or combine both for an 18-hole round. We welcome golfers of all abilities. The course is challenging for the low handicap player whilst still being accessible for the beginner. Many a keen golfer has cursed the "Grand Canyon" which, as the name implies, is played over a gorge with a stream in the bottom. Whether you are new to the game or a keen player, our course will help you improve your swing. Silver Birch is a friendly and welcoming course which can be enjoyed throughout the year. No membership is required, just turn up to "pay & play."
I was here on the weekend and the course was perfect, a great atmosphere all around even with everything going on at the moment. The owners were lovely and all 18 holes were enjoyable yet challenging. I will be back a lot more often.
