One of the best parks in Sydney, well maintained by the local council with wonderful trees and plants and great views to the city and bridge on one side and Mosman Bay on the other. So accessible, only 10 minutes from the city by ferry.

Kingpin is probably the coolest hangout you’ll find in Chermside (and we’re not just talking the shopping centre!) After work, or after play: Sportsbar, Cocktails, Cafe, Room 300 - a private event space with its own bowling lanes…and that’s before you start on bowling, laser (coming soon), arcade games, table tennis, karaoke, escape rooms and pool tables. It’s hard to pass up for a night with

The Hayden Orpheum is a step back in time, where the elegance of retro meets modern society. It's always a pleasure to see movies at this awesome venue.

We discovered this park only because we were going to see the Jacaranda's on McDougall Street. Such a lovely wide expansive park but not huge. You can sit by the water and relax and there are some amazing palm trees which add to the beauty of this place. There''s a small kids playground otherwise green grass to sit on. Definitely will come back.

We love Brennan park! Its a huge drawcard in the local area for family and friends to meet or celebrate a special occasion or just to take the kiddies to for some fun! We have celebrated a few birthdays here. They have recently improved the park adding much needed seating and upgraded the kids play area. The park itself is huge and plenty of room foor ball games etc. There are also council toilets on the grounds. There is a huge fig tree which provides lots of shade. You can also train watch nearby which the kiddies love! Its a beautiful spot to just take a book & relax or do some yoga! I highly recommend a visit!
Silky Shapes Studio is pottery classes for adults. Students will learn basics of pottery and will be taking home ceramic pieces they have made themselves. There are day time and evening classes. I would recommend evening classes as an idea for a fun date night, girls night out, time to reconnect with your friends and family or have fun making new friends. There is also a modified version of classes where several sessions are combined into one class and can be a perfect solution for those seeking ideas for team building, hen parties, birthday parties, etc. In this one session students can choose either working with clay and leaving the final glazing and finalizing the pieces to the studio before they can pick it up a few weeks later, or take advantage of pre made pieces, which they can personalize and decorate the way they want to.
