Commons Beach Park is a lovely gem on Lake Tahoe. Free parking is available on a first-come-first-served basis. The park has plenty of grassy areas, picnic tables and playground equipment, and the beach is clean and inviting. Great place to spend time with family and friends.

I took my 17 and 16 year olds to Northstar Village to shop and Ice Skate. What a great spot! The ice rink in in the center of the upscale lodging and shops. Live music was great!! Cocktails a little over priced but ... It’s Tahoe! The fire pits all around the rink are excellent source of heat and great way to meet people. The rink was mainly beginner to intermediate skaters and everyone was having a great time ! People were sitting outside having cocktails with their dogs on leashes. Awesome!!! I loved it! We had an awesome dinner at the sushi restaurant next to the Rink ! I highly recommend trying it ! I love the the stores and could have spent s fortune !! We will be back !!!

We came here, while in town for some down-time, to catch a current popular movie. Due to the (small) size of the theater, the showings sold out pretty quick. We still managed to get tickets to a later showing though. When we came back to the theater, we discovered it is (in our opinion) really small inside. We were happy though that small didn't apply to the audio system as I immediately worried about. The screen and video and audio were all very good and did not have any negative effect on enjoying the movie itself. I checked in on Yelp and YAY discovered I got a free small popcorn. I went to redeem it and the man behind the counter was super cool, said he hadn't experienced a Yelp freebie being redeemed, and bumped us up to a super mega whopper monster bag of popcorn. How did he know we were a group of seven? He didn't, and that made it all the more cool what he did. A second man actually bagged it all up for us. He asked if I wanted butter and I said yes. I assumed salt was included, walking cluelessly right past a long counter of various salts and seasonings. Disturbed the gentleman at the end of our row a second time, sat down, munch munch huh? nope, no salt. NOboby liked the taste with lots of "butter" (oil?) and no salt. Disturbed the gentleman a third time to go salt up. Fourth disturbance to sit back down. Now we were all happy, and soon to be thirsty but no way I was gonna bother the guy at the end of our row twice more unless there was a fire. Seats were comfy, environment was nice inside, a good time was had by all of us. So in summary, this is a cool little (very) theater with nice staffing. Just know better than to walk up to a popular new release expecting lots of seats. And don't forget to salt your own popcorn.

Together with bowling and drive-in movies, mini-golf was a main source of entertainment in the 60s&70s and has gone the way of the “pet rock” everywhere but here. This place has three different courses of 18 holes and all are equally challenging and fun! Open noon to 6 pm now. It’s a place where you can let your mask and inhibitions down and just enjoy a good laugh at your friends and yourself! Check out the the old pictures on the wall of the original owners/builders to get a sense of nostalgia. Takes about an hour to hour and a half to play a round. Just $10-14 per person depending on which course you pick. Also has a lot of arcade video games for the younger kids.

i use to go to the Tahoe Baltimore hotel and casino for the pro dart tournament, Jim Kelly's nugget is right across the street, they have a seasonal out door restaurant called the nugget grill, they have one of the very best bacon cheeseburgers i have ever had, it was great, i could not get enough, i wanted to try the BBQ pork sandwich but they sold out fast so i did not try it yet. thats ok cause the cheeseburgers was so good i did not mind, if you get up there when the grill is open give it a try, if its still the same as it was when i was up there a couple of years ago you wont be disappointed, ,
