The deep blue waters of the Cote d’Azur are the dramatic backdrop for elegant Nice. Breathe in the fresh Mediterranean air as you stroll the waterfront promenade, or get an eagle eye of the whole city from atop Castle Hill. The pedestrians-only Place Rossetti is the heart of the city, with a grand fountain, vibrant buildings, and the beautiful Sainte-Réparate cathedral giving it a provincial French feel.

I thoroughly enjoyed this little wine tasting tour hosted by Fabio. For €15 per person I cannot fault the quality and value for money in this wonderful experience (which went on to continue at Chateau de Cremet) Fabio was a great host with very good English. We sampled two delicious rose wines, whilst Fabio explained the relevance of AOP wines in Nice. He also explained the difference of how the wines are made and from what grapes. We got to see the machines and overlooked the vineyards, where we were able to take some pictures. Of course most enjoyable was the actual wine tasting and on top of the delicious rose’s we sampled a lovely white wine and warming red wine too. Because of the change in company Fabio arranged for us to visit Chateau de Cremet nearby, where Kathleen hosted us free of charge, and where I got to sample more delicious wines (I have left another review as I was very impressed) The location of both of these places are beautiful and really easy to get to if you are staying in Nice and have a car. It was one of my favourite days of the holiday and I would totally recommend this tour with the lovely hospitality of both Fabio and Kathleen. Thank you!

We booked to go on the vineyard tour during the week. We loved the tour, we tasted 5 wines (bought two bottles) had a glass of wine on the superb terrace overlooking the ocean and then did the short self guided walking tour around the property. We would definitely recommend doing the walk as there are some stunning views of the mountains. We will certainly be going back to the chateau on our next visit. We easily got an Uber to take us up to the chateau and also got an Uber to bring us back down to Nice old town. Some reviews made us nervous about having signal to book a cab up at the chateau but both of us had perfect signal (we’re on different networks) so don’t worry. As we were concerned about transport we used the chateau’s Whatsapp number and Alexia was really helpful and said that if we did have trouble they could book us a taxi if we needed it! Book your trip, it’s a brilliant afternoon in a beautiful setting.

Overlooking the bay of Nice, the Château de Crémat, a jewel of the prestigious appellation of Bellet wines, is one of the oldest vineyards in France and welcomes your events in a prestigious setting. The vineyard covers 10 hectares spread over the hills of Crémat, Saint-Sauveur and Saquier. Due to its geographical location, it enjoys an exceptional microclimate which allows the grapes to ripen slowly: throughout the year, it is swept by winds coming down from the Alps and others coming from the Baie des Anges.
The tour guide was punctual and friendly. He had good knowledge of areas we were touring. Great job, good attitude and overall great value for money
