The deep blue waters of the Cote d’Azur are the dramatic backdrop for elegant Nice. Breathe in the fresh Mediterranean air as you stroll the waterfront promenade, or get an eagle eye of the whole city from atop Castle Hill. The pedestrians-only Place Rossetti is the heart of the city, with a grand fountain, vibrant buildings, and the beautiful Sainte-Réparate cathedral giving it a provincial French feel.

It was quite a wait to get the elevator up from the old town, but certainly worth it. The park at the top has great views up and down the coast, you can look down into the old port and see the boats come and go, you can look down into the old town of Nice. It's also very nice to just stroll around the park itself, which was full of local families just relaxing and enjoying themselves. Highly recommended.

A nice place to sit and watch the world go by. Pleasant trees and planting and, of w, the carousel. Occasional troublesome beggars.

We went for a nice long walk around this park and admired the views. There is a bus directly here and it is a nice change from the bustle of Nice.

I love this park, there is no lift like someone states here, no cafe, no toilet, just wild and natural park with beautiful views and trees

We visited this Roman Arena along with the nearby ruins and museum. Not huge, but its quite a site to see an actual Roman arena. a short car ride from old town, please visit, take an hour, and enjoy the historical significance of this city.

The garden is awesome, oldest on the Riviera. It's very beautiful and quiet. Beautiful flowerbeds in a wonderful location. The square outside offers an outstanding view and features a marble cross.
