New York State has it all – booming metropolises, majestic waterfalls, mountains, wine country, chicken wings. Yes, NYC is a magnet for tourists, but an exploration of the rest of the state can be equally thrilling. The Finger Lakes Wine Region is a vision of serene waters, quaint B&Bs, and pretty vineyards. Movie buffs will love Rochester, home of the George Eastman House and one of the world’s most comprehensive film archives. On your way to Niagara Falls, stop in Buffalo to fuel up on spicy wings.

Seabreeze, the fourth oldest park in America, is located on the scenic bluffs overlooking Lake Ontario north of Rochester. Enjoy the excitement of four roller coasters, a classic wooden carousel, thrill rides, family and kiddie rides, a midway of food and games and live shows daily. There's also a full water park with wave pool, tube slides, body flumes, lazy river, kiddie slides and more. The 1920 Jack Rabbit wooden roller coaster is listed as the oldest continuously operating coaster in America. The park is a classic combination of traditional amusement park and modern water park. Open daily mid-June through Labor Day; also open weekends in May, early June and early September.
Loved the wooden barrell that I used to try to get thru The wooden rollercoaster was fun the electric bumper cars werecool and most of all was the merry go round though I was there during the original round and round till an electrician decided he didnt have a clue bout his job and burnt the original circle down

Wonderful water park with a wide variety of activities to choose from, such as the petting zoo, old school feeling amusement rides, to the multiple fun water slides to enjoy. A true hidden gem in a small town. Would highly recommend spending the day here and riding the small gondola lift which you loops you around the park for an aerial view or catching the train to the back of the park to enjoy more water rides. Or walking through the story book land for kids.

Stopped here while traveling to our destination in Clinton, NY. Played a round of miniature golf, and loved all that this park has to offer. It's a great community resource. A pond for fishing and paddle-boating; a great carousel for kids to enjoy; and a great mini-golf course. We enjoyed this course immensely, in part, for the great quips from Mark Twain and others at each hole. Our only impediment during our 18 holes was the left over paper debris from the previous night's fire works.

A one of a kind Adirondack Attraction featuring hand carved Adirondack Animals, beautiful artwork, play center, gift shop and snacks. Old fashioned fun for all ages.
This locally-conceived and constructed carousel is truly a work of art. The idea for this lovely ride was the brainchild of Karen Loeffler, a local artist and woodcarver who wanted this for her own community. It features 24 animals that are indigenous to the Adirondacks, 18 of which are in use at any given time. The rides are open to the public for a nominal fee ($2.50/rider, with discounts given for multiple tickets). The carousel is fully-enclosed in a heated pavilion that also includes a shop and small amusement area. It is fun, and totally “Adirondacky.” It is truly worth the visit.
