Conquering New York in one visit is impossible. Instead, hit the must-sees – the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, the Metropolitan Museum of Art – and then explore off the beaten path with visits to The Cloisters or one of the city’s libraries. Indulge in the bohemian shops of the West Village or the fine dining of the Upper West Side. The bustling marketplace inside of Grand Central Station gives you a literal taste of the best the city has to offer.

Very moving memorial and it is cast in a way that simply catches your mind. Sad and striking. Recommended.

Yes it is crowded but it makes you feel Christmas. The tree, angels, ice rink, light show and stores all around. We went to the plaza during the day and night time and it is a must. We did not ice skate. Seen a proposal. Could of spent time just watching all the people. I would go back over and over

I don't think Broadway would be what it is today if it wasn't for George M. Cohan. His stature is in Duffy Square close to his wonderful workshop, Broadway. He was a prolific songwriter and produced and directed numerous Broadway plays back in the early 1900's. Most of his songs are still enjoyed today. He teamed up with some of the most popular actors, producers, singers and actors of the time. He was a true legend and a true American. (Just listen to some of his compositions)

It may appear as one of the most incongruous statues in The Big Apple, but this statue of the most decorated military chaplain in US history is superb. Right there in Times Square where discount Broadway tickets are now sold, you'll find this superbly crafted bronze of a Catholic priest who served in both the Spanish-American War and World War I. Given numerous medals for valor and service by the US and France, Father Duffy reminds everyone having a good time that there is a price for freedom which we all need to pay from time to time!
