A must do if you are in the area, a nice leisurely stroll over the water, where you will see so many fish, some bird life, and possibly some bigger sized creatures if you are lucky.

Recently on a trip to the Snowy Mountains area, we visited the Snow Gums Boardwalk lookout at Charlotte Pass. Parking is available. The boardwalk takes you along to two viewing areas, one a short stroll from the carpark, and the other up quite a few steps to the spectacular lookout overlooking the snow gums and Charlotte Pass area and mountains beyond. This lookout is certainly worth a visit.

The boardwalk is situated at the southern end of Lennox Heads. It is a fabulous long boardwalk starting just beyond Seven Mile Beach and it winds its way up toward Pat Morgan Lookout (do go up the stairs to the lookout if you have the time and energy, its gorgeous up there). The walk along the boardwalk is filled with locals walking their dogs and exercising. I really loved walking along here first thing in the morning when I stayed at Lennox Heads. There are whales and dolphins that swim by here during the season.

A lovrly boardwalk right next to the beach for either walking or riding your bike. Also is close to Reflections Caravan Park which in my opinion is the best CP in Eden.

Circular Quay is a colorful port where ferries and cruise ships board and depart, and boat watching can be as good a pastime as people watching. While street performers entertain outside, those wanting a more cultural experience can head into the Museum of Contemporary Art where a sculpture garden on the roof is as much a view as the waterways below.
As we were staying in a hotel nearby we were able to explore Circular Quay several times. It is a main transport hub, with a large train station, numerous ferries and boat trips, a cruise terminal and Hop on Hop Off buses. It will soon be the final stop of the new trams. It’s a vibrant area, with lots of park areas with beautiful trees and flowers. There is also a promenade to walk on. There are numerous eateries, including of course, MacDonalds. From this station we caught a train to Parramatta, which was both cheap and efficient. We used our debit cards to tap in. The trains are double decker, and very clean and comfortable. We also took a boat trip from here, and there is an enormous choice by day and by night, including being able to eat a meal on board while you sail round the sights. There are kiosks galore, including some selling great pies. We picked up a couple before going on the train. We also boarded a cruise ship here from the large Cruise terminal. Cruise ships dock right in the heart of Circular Quay and it’s amazing to see these behemoths arriving and departing. There are numerous taxis available here, too. Of course the area is dominated by wonderful views of the stunning Sydney Harbour Bridge, as well as the glistening white Sydney Opera House. It’s a really pleasant walk round this area with lots to see and do. A word of warning! Watch out for pesky seagulls who are determined to pinch any food you may inadvertently lose sight of. They are quick and efficient, and will take anything edible. All in all it’s a very handy place to stay as there are so many amenities close by.

Excellent little park to enjoy the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House as well as watch the ferries go by. It’s pretty quiet these days with a lot of the city office buildings not fully operation and not many tourists, so parking is a breeze and there’s always a spot to sit. Nice area for a picnic or walk along the foreshore. There is pretty much always a Mr Whippy van there selling ice creams, drinks and snacks. Parking is about $8.00 for 90mins so not too bad for Sydney. Circular Quay station is approx 5-10min walk depending on how long you’ll stop to take in the Sydney harbour views. Great little park ????????

It's a great place but seemed a bit confusing in the start but then you have to really walk n walk n walk to see the zoo throughly. The reason I went there was the Kangaroos and Koalas. Zoos are really a sad place as no one wants to be caged. I missed to mention the Ferry ride was awesome!!! TIPS- buy the zoo tickets online and try to leave a bit early before the zoo closes as there will be chaos to get the ferry back to the station.

Lotsa good memories of the spit, beach, lighthouse and views of both beach side and harbour side, including tug boats pulling huge tankers out to sea.... And whales to top it off
